The Krobok System was largely isolated from the rest of the galaxy. Not because it was on the fringes but rather because it wasn’t all that important in the grand scheme of things. It was an autonomous system, entirely self governing and without allegiance to any one side. However with the ever expanding powers that struggled for dominance over the galaxy, this could not be allowed to remain the case. As miniscule as the system might be, whatever resources it had could not be permitted to be controlled by the adversary.

Quinn
Varanin’s mission, to secure the submission of the system and its people. The method was left up to her discretion, this was a holdover mission anyway, one to keep her busy until something more important came up. The importance of this mission was far from paramount, but nonetheless the apparent ease of this mission would make failure rather embarrassing.
The system had three inhabited planets, and four inhabited moons, a respectable number for any system, with the Capital Planet being closest to the star. This was ultimately her destination, where she would begin negotiating with the local leadership, an individual called Queen Utara. Whether she would be inclined to comply with Quinn’s demands was yet to be seen, though given her system’s size she would likely have little choice if pressure was applied.
The approach was smooth and Quinn’s craft would land easily on the landing deck that had been kept clear for her. She would find Queen Utara and a detail of honor guard awaiting her not far away. And she was greeted with a bow by the Queen when she finally approached.
“Welcome to Krobok, Madam
Quinn Varanin
.” The Queen greeted. “I hope your trip was comfortable.”
