North Remembers

One of the main components in the construction efforts was Hijarna stone, from the planet. It was a beautiful piece of stone that wasn't practical to use in equipment but for walls and buildings it could stand against damage from many types of weapons and impact. Slowly though she stood there heading towards the massive world in the Harlequin class ship. The jet robes a really pretty edition to her outfit that she could wear and be different but without all of the real differences. She was coming to meet one of the operators of the quarry where the stone was being cut for shipment to Sasori facilities on Hok thanks to the senator there importing it to Rhen Var.

"How long until we are on the ground captain?" She looked at him and the two large haulers with her were coming for materials to use in the reconstruction efforts. Metals, stone, supplies to repair and build in the labs. All of it was needed before the voice spoke up. The tall man was large but very skinny as he looked at her but was kind. He could be very careful or even look at her when she asked an obvious question. "Soon padawan Ike, we have the clearance we need thanks to Senator Thalia and with the harder work that has been done we will have the haulers loaded up with construction materials as needed."

She offered him a smile of approval before she was moving with some intent to go and join them on the shuttle to head down to the planet. The haulers were empty but getting into position in orbit as cargo ships were waiting to dock and unload the materials en mass to the haulers. "Thank you captain." She bowed her head before moving into the one shuttle and standing with the Saotome operator to get a few of th larger ideas she could handle. They were heading down and out to the planet with a small smile to herself hanging out with her family on the ship.

"Sup." She said it nodding her head a little as her family repeated it. "Sup." the two of them laughed a little together before the shuttle broke into the atmosphere while the heat of reentry was there. Orihime was more then happy to work on all of the bigger things they had until she could see the cities and the large Quarry they were making. Rushing over to look out the large viewport as she almost wanted to bounce up and down in place from all of the excitement once they broke through and were suspended above the air. Her sigil on her neck glowing from the energy she radiated off of herself.

The shuttle touching down on the planet just outside of the large quarry while she went around with most of the attention on the sights and sounds of it all. The machinery was not something she had seen often so it was large and impressive with the visible heat from the cutters making the stone in the bricks they could transport on stronger repulsor sleds that were going into cargo transports to replace the ones being emptied in orbit for them. She could see others with metal that would be able to be used and any crystals on the planet they could find and sell off.

"It is all so massive." She was still in awe touching some of the smaller ingots they had for smaller structures and some mortor to make concrete from the Jarna stone. Quick drying and likely no where near as effective but it could work for something if you wanted to say put together bricks so they wouldn't shift or falter under shifts in the citadel or impact. She could work with that and the company in charge of cutting for them likely produced a lot of it before she spoke. "So ah mister, can we buy some of this as well? My mother would gladly pay for as much as you can provide."

The man was looking at her while he had a grin steeping his fingers together to watch her. "But of course we can work with that, the jarcrete is designed for holding together so many of the better materials within the galaxy. We sell to only the finest construction companies and would be more then happy to work with your mother at Sasori. Her work she contracted us for Cloud Nine's retreat was a great business venture we were happy to fulfill." He had the smile remain there and it was all teeth to show he believed he was getting a newer and better deal.

"Good then we shall handle that while the rest is loaded up thank you." The operator spoke looking up at him as the short atrisian brought out the datapad to sign everything that might be needed. The transfer of credits while Orihime wondered off to go and look at some of the pallets being loaded with the jarcrete was amazing. Just warehouses on site full of stacked bags they could load up easily on the Harlequin class in the cargo hold. "Oh this is so exciting." She was happy again as the time passed and they were going over the process there.

She could see where they were collecting and grinding down the shards of stone that were to small to use so she could see the droids weaving through the machines. The dust, shard and scraps were then loaded into the collection bins going down to be ground into small dust where it was put under lights to keep drying it out. Then it was sifted and added with some quick dry mix that could be used to bind each particle together into a clump once it got wet and dried back into a solid mass. The small padawan was excited to work with it possibly in the future.

Finally after a few more hours she was joined by the operator before they were heading back. Given the mechanical nature of the droids loading the haulers she could see many more bags of the crete being loaded onto the transports to be loaded into the cargo hold. Enough of this and it should easily be able to work on some of the construction and reconstruction efforts they had going on Rhen Var. They were heading back towards the ship in the shuttle when observing on the datapad the haulers were filled and ready to head back to meet up and unload in the cats cradles for Sasori. They had the crete in the cargo hold and could test it at holding some of the stones and rocks in the reconstruction efforts.
