Generally, Norbert isn't the first to speak nor will he hold a long conversation, but he will be loud when his beliefs, opinions, or ideas are challenged; or if he is looking for answers. He is quite naive, and values honor, self sacrifice, and respect. He can be hypocritical at times, and can waiver his values when the innocent are threatened.

At a young age, he watched the innocent of his world be beaten and murdered by the countless outlaws and bandits of his world. There was little to no authority where he came from and decided to change that.
