Counterbalance: This necklace was created by Soliael for one thing and one thing only, to counter-act the longstanding Talith Curse. Since Soliael's father, Darth Moridin, there has been a curse on the Talith family. This curse takes its shape in odd forms, not the least of which is the Talith's inability to operate vehicles, starships, and anything motorized that is smaller than a couple hundred meters.
This odd twist on their lives has been present in three generations. Soliael has it, his sister and brother have it, and his children also have it.
This pendant was created for the simple reason of counter-acting that curse. This was achieved through basically fiddling with Sith Alchemy. The pendant was created through a trial and error effect, essentially forcing Soliael to try again and against until the finished product simply “felt” right. The possibility of this ever being reproduced are slim to none, meaning that only one of these pendants can ever exist.
This particular pendant would go to Soliael's youngest child, Nohei(Kaili Talith).
The reason that the youngest receives this special pendant is because she, unlike any of her other siblings has an intense interest in mechanics, starships, and anything of the sorts. Soliael, recognizing this in his daughter and seeking to fulfill one of her greatest wishes crafted this pendant with the help of his Uncle.
All the pendant does is counter-act this one aspect of the Talith curse, essentially allowing Nohei to operate vehicles and starships without them inevitably crashing.
