Nobody Called It Sensible

Force powers were becoming ridiculous. He'd run up against very few of the non-standard ones personally, but had certainly heard stories about some of them. Teleporting from planet to planet, Force lightning that could evaporate bodies, turning invisible at will, and more. Ridiculous might be an understatement. Some of the powers were just a matter of strength, and strength or some ingenuity could counter. Others were simply esoteric powers that one needed to practice to counter.

One of the recent crazes he'd heard of was combining turning invisible with hiding the Force presence. The latter, while once considered a feat in and of itself, was now fairly common. Anyone who used a bit of logic could figure out a manner of performing the trick, with varying degrees of success. The former was very much uncommon, and from what he'd read involved bending light around the subject most of the time. Being able to pull that kind of power while keeping the presence hidden should have been extremely rare, but a craze was a craze.

Audren decided to start his learning there. Focused on his company and the recent slew of battles, he'd neglected to work on his Force powers. Just because he was a Master now didn't mean he stopped learning, after all. When the two ships had flown into the Ossus temple after getting through all the Jedi defenses, he hadn't even caught a hint of the danger. The trihexalon they'd carried had wrought incredible damage to anything biological in their blast zone; the day would have been won much simpler had he detected and stopped them. His ability to sense things needed to improve, so he would improve it.
