No Limits to our Belief

"This is probably not a good idea."

"Oh it definitely isn't, but the opportunities are worth the risk."

"And you just like thumbing your nose at people."

"I'm generally doing far ruder things than that, but yes, you may have a point. Still, [member="Draco Vereen"] has already scouted it out, we may as well seize this opportunity while we have it."

"That's true I suppose. Are you sure about us going in first alone."

"You're staying on the ship."

"The hell I am."

"Someone has to be able to pick me up quickly, have an overview of the situation, and be able to tell the other ships when it's time to drop out of hyperspace. And you're far more familiar with this ship than Ka'lleach is. Plus you won't get spooked if our unwilling hosts show up."

"You're taking the plant but not me. She's never even been in a real fight!"

"We've been over this. With her I can contact Draco if anything happens to your ability to transmit, and you know she's better at hand to hand than anyone else. It's not up for debate. We're dropping out of hyperspace soon. I need to be focused, not distracted fighting with you."

"Fine. But I don't like it!"

"Objection noted."

~Does he not like me, what did I do?~

~It's not personal.~

~He calls me the plant.~

~Henn.. takes some getting used to.~

"All stealth systems are activated?"

"Of course."

"Good, then drop back into realspace."

The Exceeder dropped out of hyperspace, immediately using passive scanners to check for any other ships in the vicinity of the blue-green planet on the viewscreen, moving to a further distance from them, not looking for a fight at the moment. The small ship moved with surety, straight to the dark chasm, the rift in the Earth that was their first target on this planet.

"Check your gear."

~Oui.~

Both women, though they'd done it before, did so again. They were only acting as scouts, no more and no less, but if Chiasa had learned anything, it was that things tended to go very, very sideways. Better to be careful, to take what precautions you could when they were afforded to you. Armour was checked, Weapons. Chiasas knife and lightsaber. A blaster for Manon.

"Coming up on the drop point."

Henns voice was surly and sullen, he was still not pleased, but he would be just as bad if not worse than Manon on the ground, the only advantage being maybe stealth and the understanding that everything could and likely wanted to kill him. Chiasa was not the sort to jeopardize a mission for someone's ego.

She checked one last thing, that she had her Korriban compass.
