PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Nkri holds to the Ancient Je’daii ways, those who balanced the light and dark side in them. He believes that the problem is imbalance, that the endless wars between Jedi and Sith would end if they embraced the Ancient Ways of being noble as Ashla cals, and accept the Bogan, the darkness in oneself rather than trying to purge it or fear it which makes one imbalanced and a Sith.
STRENGTHS
Command of Light and Dark:
Nkri’s devotions allows him to access the powers that Jedi and Sith use, he can heal his wounds and caste Lightning.
Point of View:
Since Nkri has a Bendu point of view, he is able to adjust to the points of view of Jedi and Sith that he is around, working with them to increase Ashla or Bogan’s influence and bring balance.
WEAKNESSES
Lack of Mastery:
Since Nkri is not commited to the Light or Dark solely, he cannot learn the deeper mysteries and powers of the Jedi and Sith; he cannot use Force Light nor use Essence Transfer for example.
Outcast:
While Nkri tries to work with others, Jedi and Sith, his “waffling” between the two extremes as it is deemed makes him often perceived as a double agent, and abomination by others. This can open him to being hunted and slayed on sight.
HISTORY
Nkri was once a Jedi Apprentice on Tython, where in his studies he came across the Forerunners of the Jedi, the Je’daii and their philsophies of balance (Bendu) in which he saw wisdom. For the first time he felt he could accept the darker yearnings in his soul, while still be devoted to the Jedi ideals of defending others and doing what is right. However, what at first was deemed a eccentric passion that was hoped by the Council of Tython to fade, was revealed to have taken hold of the young apprentice, and thus Nkri was Expelled from the Jedi Order.
Nkri did not take offense at this expulsion, he left in peace, and to the sadness of many friends who found his compassion even for Darksiders an example of what might lie in the future.
Leaving the Jedi, Nkri felt that he needed to grow Bogan, to explore the mysteries of the Dark Side, and so he sought out Darksiders on Mustafar, Black Guard, who taught him to use the dark side, through not with the extremism of the Sith. He advanced to Trinity Assassin, favoring a Saber Pike as Wilder.
Feeling himself drifting too deep into the dark, Nkri boarded a transport taking ore from the planet and decided to explore the galaxy, spreading his Bendu Philsophy to those who might listen. His hope is to find an apprentice who will join him in Ancient Je’daii Path.
