  • Fire: Boasting an incredibly high rate of fire, especially for such an advanced firing mechanism, thanks to the Nobuyuki's unique internal design structure, the NK30 can dish out high velocity rail projectiles at an extremely fast rate. Given its nature as a close quarters weapon, if your first shot somehow misses, the Nobuyuki will make sure the other forty nine don't you've managed to release within a second or two don't, and your would-be assailant is certainly not going to have time to react to their arrival.
  • Fury: Firing its sharp, durasteel-tipped projectiles at several machs, the Nobuyuki can guarantee to penetrate most forms of personal body armor and even shielding. In the unlikely event that the armor in question is able to defend against the projectile's penetration, your target will still certainly be knocked to the ground. Combined with the weapon's high rate of fire, the Nobuyuki is a devastatingly effective close quarters weapon.
  • Recoil: The Nobuyuki's recoil--or rather its lack of any noticeable recoil is a huge selling point to the weapon, as often submachine gun-type products are saturated with heavy amounts of almost uncontrollable recoil. Counterbalanced by weights strategically placed throughout the NK30, albeit making the weapon heavier than it needs to be, ensure that the user can easily control their aim just as well as they would with any other weapon.

  • Range: Due to its inherent nature as a personal defense weapon and a close quarters combat submachine gun, the NK30 Nobuyuki was not designed with range in mind. Although its projectiles are still effective if they unintentionally hit a target at a distance, the weapon itself is not conducive to accurate shooting. It is most effective at a personal range, and in this it excels at in-doors, urban and other close quarters combat.

The third and final addition to Nakaioma Defense Dynamics' professional flagship series of rail-propelled small arms weaponry, the NK30 Nobuyuki is a submachine gun dedicated to close quarters combat and personal defense. Equipped with the same rail firing mechanism as its sibling weapons, the Fujita and Yoshihisa, with the exception of its loader system which has greatly been improved in-order to facilitate the gun's very high rate of fire, the Nobuyuki is advertised as being "The Apex Predator of Close Quarters Defense" and the weapon itself is something that its engineering team is particularly proud of. The primary submachine gun of the Nakaioma Security Services, the Nobuyuki has found great popularity on dense, urban worlds such as Coruscant's lower levels and Denon, often in the service of private security, paranoid business and homeowners, or mercenaries. Although it is somewhat expensive.

Entering development as the Fujita and Yoshihisa were already well underway, the Nobuyuki came as a late entry following a wide effort by several members of the Yoshihisa's development team to branch the project out into a category which could combine the two weapons, a submachine gun seemed to be the perfect fit for that desire. Despite this the weapon would end up finishing its development before the notoriously difficult to develop Fujita, and it would end up receiving its name from the project's head engineer and the member of the team who had spearheaded the effort to begin its development. Known to be infamously deadly at close range given the sheer power and damage it is capable of spewing, combined with the speed at which it fires its rounds, the Nobuyuki is not a weapon one wants to be in the same room as.
