New Jedi Order Mission on Tython
Diplomatic Station ConstructionIn geosynchronous orbit above the ancestral Jedi homeworld, the Galactic Alliance Corps of Engineers along with third party contractors work in tandem to build a new space station for the New Jedi Order to receive delegates and mediate diplomatic disputes while the planet remains hazardous to visitors.
Eager to show their appreciation and contribute, more technically minded Jedi have been given leave to assist where needed with the efforts. Meanwhile several diplomatic corvettes orbit nearby to serve as temporary facilities for the Jedi DiploCorps. Assist with the station, meet with delegates from the Core Worlds or beyond, or explore the outer reaches of the legendary Tython system!
Jedi Temple Ruins
Though much was done to make the remains of the ancient Jedi temple safe from the greater dangers still lurking on Tython's surface during the Alliance's reclamation of the sacred world, much work also yet remains. The lairs of Vong creations left over from the time of the One Sith are still to be found in the temple's most remote reaches, and what portion of the facility the New Jedi Order has claimed for its ongoing mission on the planet and occupied can only charitably be called habitable.
Construction can be found here too, although on the surface the priorities tend towards reinforcing fortifications against the still dangerous wilds rather than the restoration of crumbling halls. Assist in securing the temple grounds, gather and meditate on how best to bring Tython fully back into the Light, or contend with Force specters from every generation that wander phantom halls.
ExplorCorps Forward Base
Ever to be found on any frontier available to the Alliance, the Jedi ExplorCorps' operation on Tython is in this respect no different. A shuttle ride away from the Temple Ruins, the New Jedi Order frontiersmen have taken over the ruins of a small keep on a mountainous cliff's edge overlooking Klonin Iv Saud, also known as the Valley of Fire. The last great bastion of the One Sith's touch upon this world, the Valley is a smoldering scar across the face of the once beautiful planetary surface.
From this keep, the ExplorCorps dispatches raiding parties into the Valley itself, and also keeps a watchful eye towards avenues leading towards both the Temple Ruins and the pilgrim city of New Kaleth. Once a great city of either Jedi or Sith millennia past, the ruins of Kaleth themselves are overgrown and mostly reclaimed by the Tythonian ecosystem, and yet despite the Defense Force and New Jedi Order's efforts, a shanty town of fanatical pilgrims from all over the galaxy have run the Alliance blockade of the world to worship the Force on what they perceive to be sacred ground. In exchange for the protection of the ExplorCorps, the pilgrims tolerate the Jedi's dig sites in search of ancient Force artifacts.
Explore the haunted keep and discover if its origins are Jedi, Sith, or even older. Join a ranging party into Klonin Iv Saud, and face the greatest darkness Tython has to offer. Protect the pilgrims of New Kaleth from the dangerous wilds all around them, or help ExplorCorps archaeologists dig for forbidden treasure.
