[SIZE=9pt]Inspired by her knowledge of [member="Yasha Cadera"]’s anxiety, and Leddie Gred’s chronic nightmares after the Sith Empire’s attack on Concord Dawn, Doctor Taozi Fuyuan began creating a child-friendly sleep aid. Thanks to the large repository of medical knowledge in her hospital’s research building, she had all the information she needed to begin the process. Starting with the sleep aid and muscle relaxant, Taozi researched safe amounts that could be used by children Leddie’s age. Once the dosage was calculated, the doctor considered flavors, ranging from flavorless, fruits, and different kinds of drinks. Eventually, the citrus-honey-lavender flavor was decided, as the lavender scent would help ease feelings of anxiety and begin the process of winding the consumer down.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Choosing a cute bear shape to appeal to both children and adults, the citrus extract and honey provided the yellow color, while the lavender extract gave the gummies a pleasant scent. Once the product was finalized, Taozi tested the gummies on herself and other Tal members for a month, each using two gummies a night. After deeming it safe for adult consumption, she offered [member="Mig Gred"] and Leddie seven gummies for Leddie to test. Once no side effects were reported, another 7 were given. Leddie tested the gummies for a month. Of course, Leddie was not the only child to be testing the gummies, but she was the first due to her chronic nightmares. Children in the pediatrics tower with known sleep problems were also given the gummies with their parents’ consent, and each family was compensated 5,000 credits over the course of testing.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]After being deemed safe for children and adults by a third party reviewer, Taozi began finding outside investors to assist with funds, though was stumped on deciding a name. Finally, Leddie suggested the name “Nighty Night Bears” because of how well she slept using them. Taozi couldn’t refuse the little girl, and officially named the gummies. Once the packaging, labels, and amount per bottle were decided, the gummies were shipped out to retailers across Taanab, UCM space, select markets in SJO space, and other neutral planets near Taanab. There are plans to expand into other markets as well, though it will likely take time to do so.[/SIZE]
