The rain came down in sheets, drumming against durasteel and neon signs, washing grime from the endless cityscape below. Sable sat on the edge of a high-rise, one leg dangling over the abyss, the other bent with an arm lazily draped over it. The drop beneath her was nothing short of lethal—one wrong move, one slip, and she'd be a smear on the lower levels before anyone even noticed. But she didn't care. She never had. Nar Shaddaa stretched out before her in all its chaotic glory, a labyrinth of sin and desperation wrapped in bright lights. From up here, it almost looked beautiful. Almost. But she knew better. Beneath the neon facade, the city was still the same as it had always been—hungry, ruthless, and eager to swallow the weak.
She had learned that lesson young.
The rain soaked through her armor, cold against the heat of the city below. She remembered sitting like this before, years ago, in a different life. Back then, she had been just another ghost among the lost.
But she wasn't that girl anymore.
Sable tilted her head back, letting the rain patter against her helmet before exhaling sharply. She had no love for this place, no lingering attachments. And yet, something in her gut told her that Nar Shaddaa still had unfinished business with her.
She'd find out soon enough.
She had forgotten how much she despised this planet.
