Genius: Is extremely intelligent and has a talent for inventing, skilled in tactics, marksmanship, and is deadly with a blade.
Haughty: Can be civil if he is meeting someone of equal intelligence, but if someone offends his sensibilities he will inform them of their comparative stupidity to himself.
Self Righteous: He considers himself judge, jury, and executioner. This makes him determined in battle, but hard to control. Little has been revealed about his political opinions except for an almost maniacal hatred of oppression, with which he identifies all the imperialistic factions of the galaxy. He therefore identifies himself with those oppressed, when informed that he violates intergalactic law by destroying war-ships, Niemand responds that he is merely defending himself from his attackers, and that the laws of the galaxy no longer apply to him.
Moody: Has a flair for dramatics and frequently breaks into monologues, regardless of anyone being within earshot or not. He claims to have no interest in the affairs of the Galaxy, but occasionally he intervenes to aid the oppressed.
A Kind Atlas: Niemand is devoted to his crew and will grieve deeply if any are lost. He shows the same compassion in his treatment of the subjugated, and retains a strong attachment to his deceased wife and children. Though short-tempered, he rarely expresses his anger. He is a man of immense courage, and in the forefront of every activity, from releasing a small research shuttle from the frozen embrace of a comet, to fighting pirates in the in the outer rim. This makes him more likely to help people of good moral character, but places unnecessary strain on him due to his want of "holding the galaxy on his shoulders" to coin a phrase.
Hardy: he is notable for having worked several consecutive eight-hour shifts without a break, with little oxygen, to free said shuttle from the ice.
APPEARANCE:
Niemand is frequently described as a reticent man, tall and swarthy in appearance, with a straight nose and wide-set eyes. He is of average height and build, has black hair streaked with gray, a short beard, and a mustache. He walks with a slight limp due to an old injury.
BIOGRAPHY:
Niemand is native to the planet Athanus, a pre-industrial world located deep within the unknown regions where he had acquired great renown on account of his remarkable inventions that were years ahead of their time. Niemand enjoyed a life of prosperity and contentment with his loving wife and two children until the Uoysk invaded Athanus. They descended from the sky in huge flying ships made of foreign metals. The Athanuns defended valiantly, but found that metal sabers and single shot firearms were useless against weapons that spit beams of fire and light.The invaders captured Niemand and forced him to watch as they destroyed his home, killing his wife and children, and a few of the surviving Athanun defenders who had hidden there. Niemand himself was wounded in a failed attack on an Uoysk commander. For twenty long years he toiled beneath the slaver’s whips, mining alloys and minerals to fuel the Uoysk’s conquests. The cruel treatment did not break him. He became even more determined, forming a plan to win his freedom and to extract vengeance upon the Uoysk. Eventually, Niemand, and a small group of desperate prisoners, escaped their captors and stole a ship. They set a course for parts unknown, knowing they would need to find allies and some way to acquire the necessary funds if they were to have their revenge.
