STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
  • Packing a Punch: Not a strong as a bomber but the extra fire power makes this ship devastating against light craft and other ships that come within range of it's blasters and missile launchers
Weaknesses:
  • Slugish: Though not as slow as a Y-wing the VH still suffers from a bit of lag and is easy picking for fast or well armed fighters if not escorted properly or in small groups.
Description:
The NH-VH is the last in the immediate line of HSCS fighter craft that was to be designed, sort of a cross between the X-wing and Y-wing in almost every regard. Slightly above average soft attack with torpedoes or missiles, laser cannons and a lower speed the rounds off the HSCS available fighter craft and giving potential customers a good range to select from and cover almost any need. Even such the craft is still one of many yet to come space faring vehicles for the ever expanding business

Operational Use
Despite it's lower speed the NH-VH can still dog fighter if in groups or supported and it's decent laser canon armament makes it able to take down most enemy fighters. Still at it's core the NH-VH is mainly an attack craft, either hitting weak points on a ship in a dive bomber like fashion and CAS while still retaining speed to get in and out quickly. Pilots still must be sure not to over extend or take the craft to far as it will be outer maneuvered by interceptors and space superiority fighters.

Defenses
The NH-VH boasts a moderate shielding, but also contains some sit paneling to help war off attack from it's side, if only a little. Though able to take a beating similar to an X-wing it's defenses should not be to heavily replied upon, most so if you still have a full load of bombs or concussion missiles on broad. Still the NH-VH should be able to get in, attack and get out before taking to much damage if used smartly.

Conceptually, this is solid.

Carrying 24 missiles or torpedoes is really a lot more firepower than the typical fighter (The x-wing only carries 6 torpedoes). To match the moderate roughly, I'd recommend reducing to 3 launchers carrying 4 missiles/torpedoes each.

[member="Harley Fenstermacher"], we're looking at the combined total of roughly 12 torpedoes or missiles. If you want to split it up by any number of launchers, that's fine, but the total should still be about 12.

Also does making speed low automatically make it as slow as a Y-wing?
Not necessarily. The canon Y-wing is not defined by our speed scale anywhere officially.
