Rotating Wings: Like the B-wing the SCV-2 is able to rotate it's wings around the cabin allowing for certain maneuvering and tricks other ships cannot do.
Strengths:
- Rotary Canon: Canon can cover all around the ship with 360 swivel and rotating wings means there are not blind spot attackers can exploit.
- Turn Well: Moderate speed and maneuverability makes the SCV-2 a nimble craft, making getting out of trouble that tad easier.
- Low Arms: Only sporting one laser cannon battery and no other offensive measure the SCV-2 is not the most practical fighting craft out there.
Branching off into more civilian craft HSCS decided to also expand it 'armed' craft in a bid to reach more then just military and non-combatants. The resulting craft was kind of a blur between the two markets, a shuttle being made that people can use for private/personal transports along with those that may need some sort of cheap security or back up shuttle for military use. Also in the other case of mercenaries and 'privateers that need armed craft but are not able to obtain military grade hardware.
Operational Use
The SCV-2 can be used for almost any purpose people can think of to some extend, though not transport designated the small cabin behind the cockpit gives enough room for smugglers. The shuttle can be used in combat if needed and does a decent job for regular people just looking for a ship when traveling but also need to pack heat. It should be noted that when using the craft in a dog fight it's good maneuverability and speed should be relied on more then it's defenses.
Defenses
The SCV-1 sports a decent shield and some armor plating but over all is not heavily robust, it can take hits and keep flying but is not any more armored then an X-wing and most other standard shuttles. Though able to keep you safe for the time being it is best to use the ships nimble nature and the laser turret to get away from enemy's as quickly as possible.
