- Utilitarian: Despite being a uniform fit for officers and off-duty troopers the added betaplast protected breastplate offers a decent bit of protection where otherwise there would be next to none.
- Not For Battle: Largely meant for use off duty, away from the enemy lines and aboard naval vessels this uniform is not meant for intensive combat as the entirety of the armor's resistances are concentrated on the breastplate which covers only a small section of the upper body/shoulders.
Though not too aesthetically dissimilar to officer uniforms of the Imperial legacy the New Imperial Order adopts a style of military uniform reflecting the lineage of its forming military defectors from the Sith Empire. Made up largely of officers who rose through the ranks via tenacity and grit as opposed to aristocratic, Sith or nepotist ties the armored elements reflect the battlefield experience collectively between the New Imperial Order’s initial military force in defection from the Sith Empire.
