Darth Acharon
Cyrus Teraah
Darth Acharon has created a new group called Brotherhood of the New Dawn.
The time of the Sith is waning. The Sith Empire, once the stable bastion of control, now stands besieged. The once coveted unity of the Sith as a whole has fractured. A great warfleet has gathered in the Unknown Regions, led by by three Sith united with a single vision. On Korriban, the Worm Emperor, an entity of mystery and power has emerged to lay claim to the ancestral homeworld of the Sith. These three powers seek to stabilize what is left of the once mighty Sith name, while others seek to erase it all.
The Brotherhood of the New Dawn seeks to make a change to the status quo of the Sith. Formed by Darth Acharon, the Brotherhood of the New Dawn seeks to gather a new source of Dark Side talent to its banner, outsiders that can see the Sith from a new angle, and escape the endless cycle of self destruction. These new disciples of darkness are drawn from the Jedi across the galaxy. Like the ancient Exar Kun, Darth Acharon as begun to travel across the galaxy and sway those Jedi that stand on the brink of falling to join his cause. Uniting these new individuals with Sith who share the same goal as Darth Acharon, the Brotherhood of the Dawn was formed.
Now, the Brotherhood of the New Dawn seeks to establish its presence and power deep within the Tingle Arm, where they seek to begin to lay the groundwork of their great plan. To usher in a new age of the Sith, where the cycle shall be broken, and the Dark Side can reign unchallenged.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this little excerpt. To explain a bit, I have recently begun reading and loving the lore of ancient Sith organizations, and my favorite, as you can probably tell, has been the Brotherhood of Darkness. The thought of Jedi turning to the Dark Side and becoming one of the galaxies greatest threats was such a wonderful read, and I thought it would be a wonderful experience and storyline to see brought to the site in an organized fashion.
What the Brotherhood of the New Dawn offers is an opponent, storywise, to both Sith and Jedi organizations, and even the other nations of the galaxy. For the Jedi, the Brotherhood of the New Dawn serve as a sort of heretical group, traitors to the oaths they have made and promises they once kept to both their Orders and the people of the galaxy. For the Sith, the brotherhood of the New Dawn is a group of outsiders, untrusted and radical in their approach to their teachings and ways. For everyone else, the Brotherhood can serve as an antagonistic group that seems familiar to some, and yet alien in so many other wars.
For the individual, the Brotherhood of the New Dawn offers a chance to explore an aspect of story development I have not seen all that much, a Jedi falling from grace. There are notable examples, but they are outliers in the great sea of blue and green laser sword monks, and I am hoping to make a more concentrated effort here.
There is still much being worked on here, but I wanted to get this starting point posted and here, so that I can start working with the idea in a more visible way rather than endlessly debating it in my head. If you have questions or would like to join, please let me know!
