New character, open thread -- come say hello!

Hey there folks! I know I'm new and Nico is fresh off the creation block, but I've put up a thread and am hoping a few characters might stop by and say hello -- its definitely easy to get lost in the shuffle of these big boards where there's members online and posting 24/7!

Here's the thread! Don't worry about echoing length; I may slow down/shorten up as the thread progresses.
