Scholar of Antiquity: Nemo’s sizeable formal education and foremost, hence the lack of a title, wealth of self-taught historical and archaeological knowledge is her greatest resource as an adventurer, explorer, and as she’d prefer to say, ‘collector of antiquities’. Disregarding her current lack of a collection, ‘grave-robbing thief’ doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. Or union laws.

Scruffy-Looking: At best, Nemo looks unkempt. At worst, she’s positively filthy- even she doesn’t believe herself when she calls it ‘rugged chic.’ All the same, every item she wears is well-tested and practical to a fault. The rest tend to end up lighting torches, or more often, as grease rags. Sometimes both. After all, if it’s not pretty, it usually works better- or not at all. Only one way to find out.

Daredevil Child: Reckless may be a better word. Time and again, Nemo has risked life and limb at the merest whisper of treasures and truth. Regardless of the glory, or even the wealth, though that never hurts, mortality seems almost secondary to the possibility of answers- and excitement. Which of these Memo needs more, even she couldn't say. To her, danger is electrifying, and quite paradoxically, makes her most alive. Fortunately or not, she usually finds herself in a lot of it.

Luck of the Goddess: In the face of danger alone, Nemo’s luck is nigh-supernatural, as if the universe is always guiding her. To the exit, to the gun, away from that killing shot- it’s an cold itch in her brain. Maybe it’s instinct. Yet otherwise, she has a history of ill-fated expeditions, and very little wealth to boast of. Even on Manaan, her mother called this the work of Ryloth’s own Twi’lek Goddess, a belief Nemo holds on to even today. Whether this is the truth or another power is at work remains to be seen.

Unconscientious Objector: Nemo prefers to solve her problems with words when possible. As moral as this sounds, it’s just her natural solution to being near-constantly outnumbered, outgunned, and most of all, outclassed by her foes. Her winning smile has often proven as invaluable as a blaster- though it never hurts to bring both, though, in her experience. One's a lot more reliable.

Curiosity and the Cat: Within the confines of academia, Nemo’s primal need for answers is her most invaluable asset. In the field, it’s a one-way ticket to the grave. From Mataou to Korriban, there’s not a single scar on her body that wasn’t the result of opening that last door, investigating that last chamber, or pulling that last lever. Truth over safety, she'd say. Hardly a fair fight, where mortality is concerned. Then again- she never did play fair.

BIOGRAPHY:
________________________________________________________________________________

Nemo was born 25 Galactic Standard Years ago, on the oceanic world of Manaan. Her parents were off-worlders, immigrants to Manaan, come for the abundance of underwater salvage work. Whilst her father passed when she was young, this only strengthened her remarkable bond with her mother. From her, Nemo acquired so much of what she is today. From an early age, she dived alongside her into the vast and murky depths of Manaan’s boundless oceans, hunting for jewels in the rough. It was there, amidst the blue waves, that she found her love of the unknown, deep and abiding passion for history, respect for Ryloth’s traditions, a hunger for riches, and above all- the thirst for adventure.

As a child she wandered constantly- one of the few air-breathers to visit Maanan’s underwater cities, she spent as much time on the sea floor as above its surface. Sifting through the Rakatan ruins, often to little avail, and constantly ‘borrowing’ finds from other salvager’s jurisdictions, she was siezed by a boundless need to explore. In time, as she grew, she ventured deeper into the waves, excelled academically in history and little else, At home, her quarters were filled with scrawlings; hand-made maps and ancient translations were strewn from wall to wall, each slowly growing in their accuracy and complexity- as did the promise of finding something truly great.

So, despite her mother’s insistence, she cast aside plans for a doctorate, diving day-after-day in a fruitless chase for glory that left her and her mother with nothing. Rather than turn back and pursue academia, once again, she chose to head off-world. The wedge this drove between the mother and daughter, and the regrets Nemo harbours as a result, remain just as fresh to this day. Taking what little she had of her own, she fled off-world to work for an orbital salvage outfit, hoping to raise the credits to travel the galaxy in total freedom, to claim the treasures she promised, that one day she might return to Manaan and her mother with glory and riches abound.

Throughout the Outer Rim she drifted between jobs for a year until, at long last, she could afford a vessel of her own- the Kazellis-class light freighter 'Gypsy Nebula'. Shooting, or more precisely, sputtering, from one star to the next, she travelled for years from the Outer Rim, to Wild Space, and even the Unknown Regions. Self-teaching the most pertinent and promising fields of archaeology, with no small amount of guesswork, she hunted for lost Hutt relics on Mataou, secrets of the ancient Sith on Korriban, and answers within the ruins on Vaklin, alongside countless other worlds. Always outnumbered and always outgunned, she has rarely escaped with anything to show for it, save scars and scorch-marks.

The search for treasures always continues, alas- be it alongside smugglers, Jedi, Sith, or all types in-between. Nemo knows that excitement and adventure await somewhere. Hopefully nearby. Hyperfuel's not cheap.
