The company doesn’t oppress people. It does take both Private and Public contracts. Sometimes it will even take designs others have made, and improve upon them before selling them back to the company that made the designs. The company pushes for the products it makes to be the best they can be before they sell them to others to be mass produced. Nelson has a strict rule against developing bio weapons of any sort, including nanites that can be weaponized to attack people. There are some lines the company won't cross no matter how much is being paid. When the original company shut down, Taji opened a new version of Nelson Prototyping.
RATIONALE
Originally created as a small research company, this was made to develop prototypes of technology. From there, Taji realized there were many fields that were left without anyone filling them in the public eye. Deciding to take advantage of the lack of competition, he sought to expand. The first of the fields he tapped into was that of cloning, so he could provide the galaxy clone soldiers inspired by those of the past. After that, he expanded into many different fields of science, and creative applications of the Force.
