Description:

Birth control were methods or devices used to prevent pregnancy. The Ho'Dins were masters of herbal birth control.

Further research with Pharma tech has allowed a refinement of these herbal birth control in it of itself, allowing the use of a quarterly stim shot regimen. As the Ho'Dins have opened up trade, the availability of this has skyrocketed.

Neema Stim has spermicidal action. For women, a single injection of a minute amount of neema oil within the uterus will create a reversible block in fertility every quarter without causing changes in menstrual cycles or ovarian function.

Researchers have found that neema oil can slow the motility of sperm, preventing their ability to reach their destination and fertilize the egg.

For men, ingesting neema tablets for one month produces reversible male anti-fertility. Even daily oral doses of neema seed oil in gelatin-capsule form can also be taken as birth control. Using neema as a birth control method does not affect sperm production or libido.

OOC: For naming purposes as the wookieepedia article didn't say what it was called... i just called it Neema instead of "herbal" birthcontrol.
