Name: Neela deWinter

Nickname: NeeNee

Age: 23

Species: Mostly human

Gender: Female

Height: Just barely 5’5”

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Long and all natural red

Force Sensitive: Affirmative

Strengths:

  • Many faces. She has the ability to easily be whatever she has to be in order to get a job done. She can seamlessly fit herself into just about any scenario
  • Don’t sweat it. Getting into hot water doesn’t typically ruffle her any
  • Easy come, easy go. Jobs don’t linger with her. She gets in, she does what she needs to, and she gets out. There are no hold ups, and she doesn’t lose any sleep over the things she has to do
  • Silver tongue. The ability to make up a story on the fly comes all too naturally to her

Weaknesses:

  • Watch it. There aren’t very many people that she fully trusts. Jobs and information come from a very select few people
  • Wild Card. She’s unpredictable, even on a job no one can ever really know what she’s going to pull – though she at least always gets the job done
  • Liar? It’s hard to ever know if what she’s saying is fact or fiction
  • Lonely. Being the way she is, she gets rather lonely from time to time

Personality:

At first glance, most people naturally assume that Neela is a queen – and they aren’t wrong. While she isn’t cold hearted, or cruel, or even just mean to people, she has absolutely no problems with feeding people her opinion. When she’s wrong about something, she doesn’t like it but she doesn’t throw a fit about it, however she easily makes her displeasure known. However in most cases, Neela is actually rather sweet. She adores the people she’s come to trust, and she will go above and beyond to help with whatever is needed of her when it comes to those people.

But then there’s the fact that she is a cold, hard killer.

As an assassin, Neela is whatever she needs to be to get the job done. From sultry to cruel and unusual, she will put on whatever face she needs to in order to get her mark. The fact that she is young, attractive, and has the ability to conjure up whatever sort of façade she needs makes her unsuspecting in the best way. She gets through life with blood soaking her hands, and doesn’t even bat an eye about it.

Bio:

There isn’t a whole lot known about Neela, at least not up until she turned fourteen. Even she isn’t sure about the events of her life before then, but after? Those she remembers all too well. She had been found wandering aimlessly on some backwater planet, with serious injuries and massive head trauma. It took days for her to recover enough to be able to speak, and then longer still to even recall her name. But that was it. However, the more she healed the more she showed an aptitude for physical prowess that the healers of the medical ward Neela was in couldn’t explain.

They let her continue to rebuild her strength, side by side with working on her speech reformation. While she had suffered the head trauma, there didn’t seem to be much wrong with her mental capabilities other than the damage to whatever long term memories she should have had, and the speech issues. The stronger Neela became, the more apparent it became that the young girl was Force sensitive as well, and that was where the healers could no longer assist, so they sent her out to hopefully be trained by some of their allies.

Along the way however, the transport that Neela had been on was overrun. Apparently it had been transporting more than people, and on top of that a high value target was apparently on board. While most of the passengers were easily disposed of, Neela had managed to not only remain unseen, but had taken out three of this hostile crew before she was caught and taken to their coordinator. In what Neela still considers a cliché move, the leader of this operation was impressed, and while at first they took the girl hostage, over the years the situation was changed.

Neela was trained to kill, proficiently, so that mishaps would no longer occur that would get her caught. She was taught to lie, to manipulate, to be whatever and whomever she needed to be in order to get whatever assignment she was on done. Over the years, she became an efficient killing machine, and she had raked in quite a bit of money for the organization. Unfortunately, she had become too good at what she was doing, and that made her a threat to the leader.

One assassination attempt later left the leader dead and Neela out on her own. Still to this day she has to be careful and watch her back. It has left little room for trust in her life, save for a select few that have gained her favor and vice versa since she’s been out on her own. But she’s still working – and has taken a handful of those who betrayed her out along the way. She has her own personal hit list to clear off, on name at a time, but it doesn’t stop her from taking jobs to line her pockets and keep her moving.
