Need writers for the Raven super virus aka Nevermore.

Hey guys. I need like two other writers to do a dev thread with this character so we can make the WMD/Bio weapon called Nevermore. It is a Supervirus that mutates based on the genetic code of the infected subject. Much like the smart tranqs but it won't dissapate until the subject is dead which would take about an hour. The way it kills is ruptureing all the red/blue/black/whatever color blood cells they have, all at one time causeing the subject to "bleed" from every orriface of their body. Causes death in an hour, the time is so short so the virus can spread throughout the body then it activates. It will be airborne and bloodborne but only able to survive in the blood outside of a host for about three minutes. Gonna need a bankroll and someone to get test subjects. I will be doing that sciency stuff but input is gladly accepted.

Ok so my room mate and I were talking and nanobots would be a better way to do this instead of a biological virus. Better coordination and easier defenses against it. Such as electro scanners to find the bots and emp/ion pulses to deactivate the nanobots. Times been changed. Now it is six hours to shut down respiratory systems and eighteen hours to shut down circulatory systems like their hearts. Their would be defenses and ways to keep them alive. Such as iron lungs and such. Artificial circulation of blood, easily scannable..it isnt a frak all god mode killing machine...anymore.

Nanobots is probably better, not sure the prior supervirus would have gotten approved even if we did the dev thread.

I can make cameo appearances, and probably deal with the bankroll side of things, but not much into the slavery or r&d side ;p

I'm new, so I would understand hesitation in accepting me but I could help with the whole test subject thing. Seems like a good way to make myself known and have some fun RP all at once.

So Tmoxin's scientist brother Armand Temi has a mutated virus (Sith-created, ebola-like) already in his possession just sitting in his lab waiting to be stolen. The thread is long and I can give you the edited version that relates to the virus if you want, just PM me.

Would you be interested along with [member="Chiasa Kritivaas"] [member="Lurcano Car'dann"] in going to nab the virus with me? I already have our opposition lined up. The setting would be Hapes and going to Armand's clinic. But he won't be alone.

Then you can reverse engineer it along with whatever bio-terror weapons you have in mind

Also I was reading about [member="Amelia Deathman"]'s questions to The Factory about producing a virus and that whole thread was helpful since I'd been wondering about super viruses since Armand picked it up.

Therefore this thread will most likely be for fun and conflict. If we want to reverse engineer the virus we'll probably have to make it into something less powerful which still could also still be quite interesting.

Mir Nehrahn would certainly be down for the creating/reverse engineering of viruses. Plenty of knowledge and curiosity in the biological/biotech/bioengineering/genetics fields. If his services would be welcome, I'd be happy to join in. Just don't expect him to run around. If he's in, the whole LR crew would also be down for the heist if that's the route this goes.
