Strengths:
The Nebel are very effective at detecting and tracking stealthed objects with its powerful sensor suite and self-generation of interstellar clouds.

The interstellar clouds it creates are easy to detect, as well as all objects moving through them. The Nebel themselves have an especially large energy signature that can be tracked.

The Nebel (“Nebula”) are a class of support frigates designed for ELINT and the detection of stealthed objects utilizing devices like gravitic amplitude modulators. For detection, the Nebel employs a simple low-cost solution: a series of plasma projectors and micro-flechette launchers are used to create interstellar clouds around it in a 50km radius. Objects that pass through the interstellar clouds become easier to detect from their displacement of concentrated particulates and ionized gases. Typically, Nebel are deployed as part of the main body of a fleet, directly covering flagships and other support vessels that usually form the core of the formation. They may also be deployed planetside to detect stealthed objects displacing air as they pass through the atmosphere, covering bases and other important locations.
