Description:
Designed by Koros Spaceworks to fit both as a research station and semi-permanent residential zone, the Nathema-class Orbital Station is a state-of-the-art space station of roughly seven hundred meters in length by an appropriated three-hundred meters in width and height that is produced to order per contracted individuals, planets, or organizations and factions. Due to being designed on the notion that it will see more civilian and corporate use than military it was made without any capital weapons and a slightly smaller hangar than what would be expected on a dedicated station. Point defense lasers were introduced instead of capital weapons to provide reasonable defense against small craft and raiders, aided by the advanced shields present on the station.
For cases in which power might be temporarily lost the life support systems were upgraded to an advanced suite that provides up to a twenty-hour backup in life support depending on the occupancy of the vessel in question - this does not extend to docked ships that may be present in the hangar. Located within the hangar is also a repair bay that is meant to fix minor damages to small personal vessels or provide upgrades to outdated materials, such as old engines or faulty lights. The ship itself is powered by a solar ionization reactor with large panels present along the rear-sides of the station to provide added charge. There are 85 residential suites that fit two twin-sized beds and a half bath (shower stall, toilet, and small sink) as well as two penthouse suites that fit one queen-sized bed and a master bath (large tub, large sink, toilet, steam bath.) All-in-all the Nathema-Class station was designed with absolute luxury in mind with a relatively small degree of defense against minor threats. Any major threats, simply a single frigate would do, would prove too much for the station on its own.
The price tag on this product is in the millions of credits, and is only available to approved buyers who contract the company to produce the station.
