---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS:
+I can hold my breathe longer than You: Born on Velusia, an oceanic world, Naphome shares the quality all Aquar do that is common across oceanic world types. That being the ability to breathe underwater. Her nostrils being gills capable of sustaining her both in water and on land.
+Watch my blade dance, its form is your death: A talented swordswoman, the pink Aquar has spent her life offworld, twentyfour years, learning various sword techniques and styles. Primarily skilled in single sword fencing techniques atypical of the Tapani or Serenno nobility, Naphome spent several years on Astrisia learning Jar'Kai Tactics the dual sword precursor to the Niman Lightsaber style. However, she more often melds the techniques of the various sword styles into one of her own that utilizes the rest of her equipment. Her body's lighter structure makes her a much more agile and faster fighter, though it does also make her more fragile as well.
+Well Equipped: See Gear. Naphome has spent her time collecting a variety of weapons. Some left to her by her father, who had dragged her around in his quest to become a swordsman himself. Her favorite of which is her shell spider silk armor, crafted to deceptively appear as a dazzling dress that only exposes her lower arms, where she wears light-shield bracers, and her head.
WEAKNESSES:
-Can't Stand the Heat: As a species from an aquatic world, Naphome is prone to suffering from heatstroke or thirst much sooner than the average humanoid on more arid worlds. She heavily relies on a supply of water when traversing words such as Tatooine or Jakku.
-Not Very Subtle: Because of the pigment of her skin, Naphome Rorareh is anything but stealthy as it is typically easy to see bright colors like the pink of her flesh in the dark. It is also more difficult for her to blend into a crowd and on her homeworld especially amongst the normal skin tones of the Aquar she is easy to pick out.
Gear:
- Strength Gauntlets
- Light-Shield Bracers (Both Arms)
- Shock Boots with Magnogrip Soles (soon to be upgraded)
- Greaves for her lower legs utilizing Shield Gauntlet technology to deflect lightsabers
- Baragwin Assault Blades x (2)
- Shell Spider Silk Armor
- Electrobinoculars
- Model Q4 Holdout Blaster
BIOGRAPHY: Born to a simple merchant father and a mother who worked as a nurse, Naphome Rorareh initially led a quiet and simple life on her homeworld of velusia. As a near-human with a longer lifespan than most humanoids, Naphome's father was a restless soul. Younger than his wife, her mother Rula, Naphome's father had always dreamt of traveling the galaxy as his wife had, her stories inspiring him of adventures as she spoke of her time in relief aid organizations, using her medical knowledge on less fortunate and advanced worlds. However, not intending to leave behind his family, the Aquar man led a happy life all the same and Naphome grew up first believing she would grow up to one day take over their simple shop.
The year she had her eleventh birthday though, Naphome's mother took ill and did not recover. For the next year Naphome's father tried to cope with his grief and carry on with his simple shop, but eventually decided it was the time to pursue his dream of traveling the galaxy. He would not do so alone either, taking his daughter with him, selling their belongings and their family store to fund their first trips. Their travels would crisscross the inner and mid rim, leading to several years being spent on worlds like Serenno and Tapani. It was then that in his lust for adventure Naphome's father would take up swordsmanship, wishing to emulate ancient warriors as he envisioned himself wandering the galaxy fighting for honor and justice.
The time spent on Serenno and Tapani was well spent for Naphome, as alongside her father she would study fervently beneath the nobles wielding their lightfoils, learning their fencing styles that were ancient swordplay similar to the Jedi and Sith Makashi. After a decade spent on those worlds, Naphome would continue following her father, picking up his lust for adventure and wanderlust, craving more knowledge of sword arts. Their travels across various worlds, working as bodyguards for various VIPs to pay their, afforded them unusual equipment and arms. Light-Shields from Tapani where Saber-Rakes they had studied under presented them as parting gifts after their period of learning, shell spider silk armor crafted into styles of their choices to protect a Serenno noble attempting to travel under threat of criminal bounty, greaves fitted with shield gauntlet vambrace technology from an adventure battling pirates on Galantos taken from the personal cache of their captain after his defeat, and Baragwin Assault blades purchased specifically for a bounty hunting stint where the weapons electric charge was used to capture the target.
Eventually their travels brought them to Atrisia, where Naphome and her father would spend another decade learning under its own swordmasters. There they would learn the Jar'Kai dual blade techniques, the precursor to lightsaber form Niman, which would become the base for Naphome's personal style as she honed her abilities. It was also on Atrisia where her and her father's paths would diverge. It would happen upon discovering ancient texts in Atrisia records of a legendary swordmaster in history, a warrior from several millennia ago who had collected six several centuries old (at the time) Wintrium Swords, and traveled the galaxy in a bid to become renown as the greatest sword wielder to ever live.
The master's abrupt disappearance would only entice the Aquar as he began a search for more information. Eventually coming to find the ancient swordmaster's journal by chance being sold by a street vendor on Fondor after leaving his daughter behind on Atrisia. The journal would detail the swordmaster's journeys, his battles and victories, his claims for honor and glory, and his final entry. One that spoke of his greatest feat his wished to accomplish. To single handedly face a legendary beast, a Terentatek, and win. It would be his greatest achievement and cement his name in history.
Yet it did not, for he never returned clearly. Reading it though, Naphome's father became lost in the epic himself and he was overcame with the desire to make the same bid, to travel where the journal depicted the Terentetak's whereabout and slay it and reclaim the lost Wintrium Swords of the former master. Yet, in the event he should fail the Aquar took the precaution to send a final message to his daughter, attaching the journal in the package as well. Should he not return within a year she should believe him dead, and become one to surpass legends herself.
It has indeed been a year, and the package has been delivered. Naphome now prepares to search for her father, or his remains, and make her own bid for the legendary master's weapons.
