Description: Naosi is a hallucinogen found in the venom of the Iknao. It’s not deadly by itself, but due to the hallucinogenic properties of it, someone under the influence of Naosi would be more susceptible to accidents that could turn out deadly. The venom contains chemicals that act on pleasure receptors in the brain as well as the centers of the brain that control and interpret the senses. This results in mild hallucinations. The Iknao use it to incapacitate their prey, making it easier to hunt. Some groups have begun harvesting this substance from the Iknao and selling it as a street drug much like spice or deathsticks. It is an addictive substance, both mentally and physically, and withdrawal from this substance can cause hazardous effects on a person’s health if they were to use it regularly and then suddenly stop.
