Master Harrison with Nam'krit inside the Silver Temple.

Special Features:
Sentient garment.
Allows wearer to hide their presence in the Force.
Amplifies Force Telekinesis abilities.

Strengths:
Independent. As the crystal weave acts as an extension of the cloak's body, Nam'krit, the crystal heart, is capable of controlling and manipulating the garment through the Force and can communicate telepathically with the wearer in the same manner.
Living Relic. Nam'krit was once the cloak of the Jedi Master of the Temple of the Jedi on Rhen Var more than 20,000 years ago.
Boost to Telekinesis. The Force imbuement on the weave augments and empowers the use of telekinesis-based Force powers. This attribute is equally applicable to both the wearer and Nam'krit.

Weaknesses:
Requires the Force. While the armorweave retains its properties, Nam'krit's ability to control the garment or speak to the wearer are Force-based. Therefore, the cloak loses all its otherwise 'mystical' properties on worlds or areas without the Force.
Light Armor. The cloak only provides slight protection against glancing blows. Directed strikes from a lightsaber, blaster bolt, or kinetic slug will tear through the garment and require repair.
Has A Mind Of Its Own. Nam'krit has its own will and consciousness. As such, it could pull or yank the wearer in an opposite direction from what the wearer otherwise intends.
Requires Training. In order to form a bond enough where the wearer can communicate telepathically with Nam'krit.

Description: The Mantle of Rhen Var is a relic dating back approximately 20,000 years ago (c. 19,151 BBY), the Great Manifest Era of the Galactic Republic. This places the creation of the cloak as taking place roughly six thousand years after the founding of the Holy Order of Jedi Knights on Tython. Discovered within the ruins of a Jedi Temple on the planet Rhen Var, the mantle houses a Force Sensitive Nak'fet crystal within a jeweler's setting that is affixed to a freely flowing robe or cloak. Excavation of the ruins by Jedi Master [member="Matsu Ike"] and Jedi Knight [member="Théodred Heavenshield"], along with [member="Kiriko"] Howlingfjord, revealed evidence of an early Jedi commune that appeared to use sentient Force crystals as part of rudimentary Force Imbuement of articles or items; including swords, armor, and jewelry. When Kiriko stumbled upon the dry rot and disintegrated remains of the Mantle of Rhen Var, he accidentally awoke Nam'krit, the consciousness within the mantle's embedded crystal.

Bringing the mantle back to the Silver Citadel on Rhen Var, Kiriko used a Sasori Loom under the tutelage of Master Ike in order to produce a crystal weave that could serve as new cloak and body extension for Nam'krit, becoming the new housing for the mantle. In order to aid in Nam'krit's mobility, Kiriko weaved Force Imbued sigils into the knit that augment the Force Telekinesis powers of anyone who dons the cloak. Struck with inspiration at the sight of the cloak and the mosaic within the temple, Kiriko then presented the restored Mantle of Rhen Var to Jedi Master [member="Connor Harrison"] as the first 'masterpiece' that the Beorni Jedi Artisan had made.
