Distinctions: Although most Mythari share common physical attributes, variations among them can arise from factors such as lineage, natural selection, or geographical influences. Examples of these variations include the Atraxari, Thevara, and Eladorrin. Generally, most Mythari stand at a height comparable to baseline humans, often exhibiting pointed ears and unconventional skin tones like green, pink, violet, and many others, with some even possessing unique features such as horns. Determining the age of adult Mythari can be challenging, as visible signs of aging only appear around their fourth century of existence.

The Atraxari are the tallest of the Mythari species and boast broad physical features, with many known to file down their nails and protruding teeth to have razor-sharp edges. Their skin coloration varies from dark to muted shades, providing them with natural camouflage. The Atraxari are generally more prone to engage in aggressive displays of strength and cunning to establish power within their communities. Their natural inclination towards bloodlust, their combative prowess, and drive for dominance can make them either valuable allies or fearsome foes. Despite their inherently violent tendencies, the Atraxari maintain a twisted sense of honor and hold themselves to a strict code that prioritizes loyalty and fearlessness, especially once allegiance has been pledged. Many Atraxari find easy work as soldiers.

The Thevara, also known as love-talkers or honey-mouths due to their remarkable ability to swiftly establish trust or desire in others, bear a general resemblance to basic Mythari, with features like pointed ears and a wide range of skin tones and hair colors. However, unlike other Mythari, the Thevara exhibit specifically striking characteristics that set them apart, such as feline eyes and distinctive-patterned skin markings that are often mistaken for tattoos. It's believed that a specific pollen the Thevara have been known to ingest for hundreds of years is what caused this biological change in their appearance.
This same pollen is the source of the Thevara's unique abilities and further distinguishes them from other baseline Mythari. Over multiple generations, the Thevara have become adept at cultivating and harvesting a rare and poisonous plant species that only grows on their home world. Once this plant has been harvested, the Thevara ingest a mixture of its pollen, along with other elements, to greatly enhance the effects of their natural pheromones for a specific period of time, often depending on the amount they've ingested, giving them the ability to deftly manipulate others' affections. Within society, the Thevara typically assume roles that capitalize on their natural talents, such as diplomats, negotiators and even interrogation specialists.

The Eladorrin belong to the ruling class of the Mythari and differ from the other Mythari offshoots by their human-looking appearances, save that they can have skin tones that range from bright jewel hues, to the more beige palate of baseline humans, delicately arched ears, and longer, more graceful limbs. The Thevara, also known as love-talkers or honey-mouths due to their remarkable ability to swiftly establish trust or desire in others, bear a general resemblance to basic Mythari, with features like pointed ears and a wide range of skin tones and hair colors. The Eladorrin are also predominately Force Sensitive, and typically more powerful than the average Mythari. Trained from a young age by various mentors, it is common for older Eladorrin to possess the knowledge of unique and rare Force abilities, including Metamorphosis, Teleportation, Soft to Solid, Mind Walking, and Phase.
Depending on where the Eladorrin hail, will also color their Force usage and which side of the spectrum their abilities tend to favor. Those from Thalorande typically prefer pacifistic and defensive abilities, where those from Felnoreth may trend closer towards combative and aggressive abilities.

Diet:
Communication: Mythari use a complex language that is profoundly expressive, combining verbal and non-verbal elements such as telepathy and body language cues, which is especially prevalent among the Eladorrin. While their original language has been lost and evolved over the centuries, integrating aspects of Galactic Basic for inter-species communication, the various races of Mythari have developed their own unique linguistic traits. For instance, the Atraxari's dialect is much harsher, reflecting their aggressive and straightforward nature, while the Thevara's dialect is more melodic and airy.
Technology level:
Religion/Beliefs:
- Names: In Mythari culture, names are believed to hold significant power. True names are closely guarded secrets and typically only known to the Mythari themselves after receiving it through a vision quest, which are often induced through the use of hallucinogens. It is believed that knowing a Mythari's true name can grant control over them, a belief so deeply ingrained, that some contracts are required to be sealed using a Mythari's true name to ensure adherence to terms.
- Lying and Deception: Mythari, especially those from Felnoreth, are known for their cunning use of language. Deception in Mythari society is not always direct; instead, it is often achieved through wordplay, half-truths, and omitting key details. This practice is particularly prevalent in Felnoreth, where the ability to navigate complex social and political situations with cunning is highly valued.
- The Force: Views on the Force vary widely and depend on the region that the Mythari hails from. In Thalorande, Force sensitivity is considered a sacred gift, one that is encouraged and integrated into society. Individuals who exhibit Force abilities are recognized from a young age and are given specialized training to help them develop their powers. These Force sensitives often serve in roles that align with Thalorande's values, such as guardians of the environment, spiritual guides, or counselors to the queen. By nurturing and incorporating these individuals into the community, Thalorande ensures that their talents are used for the greater good, preserving the kingdom's harmony and balance with nature.
- In Felnoreth, Force sensitivity is seen as a dangerous anomaly that must be contained. Unlike Thalorande, Force-sensitive individuals born outside the Eladorrin ranks are immediately identified and eliminated. This policy is enforced by the Shadows of Felnoreth, a covert group of enforcers specifically tasked with hunting down and executing any unauthorized Force users. The Eladorrin justify this harsh measure as a grim necessity to prevent the rise of insurgents or challengers who could disrupt their carefully maintained power structure.
- Social Classes and Structure: Mythari society is deeply stratified, with social classes and structures varying significantly between the two kingdoms of Thalorande and Felnoreth, and the neutral city of Eilareth. The Eladorrin, as the ruling class, play a crucial role alongside the Thevara in maintaining the balance between these divergent societies, while the King of Felnoreth and the Queen of Thalorande work together—albeit with difficulty—to govern the entire planet.
Thalorande: The City of Peace
Thalorande, typically lead by a Matriarch, has a social structure designed to emphasize equality, harmony, and collective well-being with the belief that every individual has a specific role to play in maintaining the balance of society and the environment.
- Community Elders: At the top of Thalorande's social hierarchy are the Community Elders, who are revered for their wisdom, experience, and deep connection to nature. They are typically older Eladorrin who have dedicated their lives to the preservation of the natural world and the spiritual well-being of their people. The Elders serve as advisors to the Queen of Thalorande and play a key role in decision-making, especially in matters concerning environmental conservation and social welfare.
- Artisans and Scholars: Below the Elders are the artisans and scholars who are highly respected for their contributions to society. Artisans are responsible for creating the tools, clothing, and goods that sustain the community, where Scholars, on the other hand, are guardians of knowledge and tradition, focusing on the study of natural sciences, history, and the greater Galaxy. They are often involved in educating the younger generations and ensuring that the culture and traditions of Thalorande are preserved.
- Common Citizens: The bulk of Thalorande's population consists of common citizens who work in various roles, such as farmers, healers, and environmental caretakers. While their lives are modest, they are provided with equal access to resources and opportunities, and their contributions to society are valued. However, the emphasis on conformity can sometimes suppress individuality, making it difficult for those with unique talents or desires to find their place in society.
Felnoreth's society is rigidly hierarchical and typically lead by a Patriarch, with power concentrated in the hands of an elite few. Social mobility is limited, and one's place in society is often determined by birth.
- The Nobility: At the top of Felnoreth's social structure is the nobility, composed primarily of the Eladorrin and other influential families who have amassed wealth and power through technological advancements and strategic alliances. The King of Felnoreth, an Eladorrin of considerable power, rules over this class with an iron fist, ensuring that the interests of the elite are prioritized. The nobility are responsible for governing the city, controlling the economy, and maintaining the military. They live in opulent estates and have access to the best education and technology.
- The Merchant Class: Below the nobility is the merchant class, which consists of wealthy traders, engineers, and inventors who have made significant contributions to Felnoreth's technological dominance. While they are not as powerful as the nobility, they wield considerable influence, especially in economic matters. The merchant class often engages in cutthroat competition to advance their status, and alliances with the nobility are common as they seek to secure their place in society.
- The Working Class: The working class forms the largest segment of Felnoreth's population. These individuals work in factories, laboratories, and other industrial sectors, driving the city's relentless technological progress. The working class has little political power and is subject to the whims of the nobility. While some may rise through hard work and innovation, social mobility is rare, and many remain trapped in the class they were born into.
- The Underclass: At the bottom of Felnoreth's social hierarchy is the underclass, composed of those who have been marginalized or impoverished. This class includes non-Mythari species, outcasts, and those who have fallen from grace. The underclass lives in squalid conditions and is often exploited for labor. They have no rights and are subject to harsh treatment by the authorities.
- Traveling to Eilareth and leaving Felnoreth:
- Unlike Thalorande, where any may come and go as they see fit, leaving Felnoreth is a privilege reserved for a very select few. The ruling elite, deeply paranoid about outside influences and the potential spread of subversive ideas, have established a strict vetting process for any citizen wishing to leave their city and move to Eilareth. This process includes extensive background checks, loyalty tests, and assessments of the individual's value to the state. Only those who have demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the King and have skills or knowledge deemed beneficial to Felnoreth's interests are granted travel permits. This ensures that only the most trusted and valuable citizens are allowed to interact with the outside world. Once granted permission to travel to Eilareth, Felnoreth citizens are not free from oversight. They are often accompanied by intelligence agents or shadowed by secret police who monitor their activities closely. Every interaction, business dealing, and conversation is recorded and reported back to the authorities in Felnoreth. This level of surveillance ensures that the travelers remain loyal to their homeland and do not engage in any activities that could undermine the kingdom's interests. Any suspicion of disloyalty is dealt with swiftly and harshly, often in ways that would be seen as violating the peace treaty that established Eilareth, though good luck trying to prove it.
Eilareth: The City of Dreams
Eilareth, as the neutral capital, serves as a unique intersection of Thalorande's egalitarianism and Felnoreth's hierarchical structure. The social classes in Eilareth are more fluid, with efforts made to integrate the principles of both kingdoms.
- The Council of Representatives: The governing body of Eilareth is the Council of Representatives, composed of members from both Thalorande and Felnoreth. The Council is led by a Chancellor, a neutral figure who mediates between the two kingdoms. The Council ensures that both kingdoms have a voice in the governance of the city and works to balance their competing interests. Members of the Council are typically drawn from the Eladorrin and the Thevara, who possess the necessary diplomatic skills to navigate the complex political landscape.
- The Middle Class: Eilareth has a burgeoning middle class, composed of professionals, merchants, and artisans who have found a place in the city's unique economy. This class benefits from the city's blend of tradition and progress, with opportunities for social mobility that are not as readily available in the kingdoms. The middle class in Eilareth often plays a key role in bridging the cultural divide, fostering cooperation between the two kingdoms.
- The Working Population: The working population in Eilareth is diverse, consisting of individuals from both Thalorande and Felnoreth, as well as immigrants from other worlds. They work in various sectors, from agriculture and trade to technology and public services. The working population is generally more integrated than in the kingdoms, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect. However, tensions can still arise, particularly when conflicting values from Thalorande and Felnoreth clash.

[ Include a description of the species history here. If your species is genetically engineered or Sithspawn please describe the process through which they were created, by who, and why. Explain the various challenges encountered during their creation. Most galactic species will be quite old - include major events relevant to the species in how they evolved and developed into what they are today where appropriate. Including Chaos canon events, where they impacted the history of this species, is a plus. ]
