Advanced Weapon Systems:
Thunderbolt, designed to take on swarms of starfighters, and any other attack objects (ships). Features a ball turret design enabling a full 180° vertical and 360° horizontal traverse. The gun itself is vulnerable to kinetic damage, which may cause the sianium power generator’s crystal to crack. Overheating may also lead to the crystal’s break - an internal temperature check and warning signal has been equipped on the gun.
Scutum, utilizing a very high rate of fire, compensated by recoil dampeners this flak cannon is able to produce a great amount of [SIZE=10pt]firepower[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]. Designed for starfighters and missiles, the Scutum is unable to take out[/SIZE] anything larger.
Hydrus, enhanced firing rate and stopping power, the Hydrus has a fast reload speed and is able to be fired at standard weapons range. When used in prolonged engagements the Hydrus can overheat.

Advanced Defensive Systems:
Ovmar, a defensive missile system that works best at long range. It can fire a variety of missiles but is loaded by default with nano missiles. Utilizes an automated reload mechanism, and comes equipped with a multi-target targeting and tracking system. May fall vulnerable to overheating, blowbacks and misfires along with degradation.
Brel, a light shield that allows the firing of kinetic weaponry at the expense of energy weapons. Energy weapons have an easier time penetrating/bleeding through the shield.

Advanced Targeting Systems:
Maelstrom, makes use of the ship’s sensor systems to increase weapon and possibly defensive armament systems. Uses a type of crystal as its data core, vulnerable to ion weaponry.

Advanced Electronic Countermeasures:
Screamer Active Jammer, while not powerful enough to jam military grade sensors, this active jammer does do the job of interfering with starfighter sensors which works great for the Muhktiar. As it is designed to go after and combat starfighters, this is paired with the universal transceiver package which comes with relatively standard equipment but aids the corvette in its role as an anti-starfighter corvette.

Advanced Engine Systems:
Crystal Fused Engine Mark III, with the new CFE-G3M5 engine, installed the Muhktiar is able to run smoother in her day to day shipboard operations. With heat drawn away from the critical components, her computer systems are able to respond faster and ship power and power transfer rates between systems are also increased.
Strengths:
Rotary Flak: Equipped with rotary hypervelocity cannons and flak cannons, the Muhktiar works to prove the battlefield even more hazardous for pilots.
Screamer: Helps to interfere with starfighter sensors with the hope of making them a little more vulnerable to the Muhktiar's new weapons.
Maelstrom: A new advanced targeting and tracking system to improve the ship's weapon and defensive armament system efficency.
Brel: Allows for projectiles to go in and out, is also more sensitive to energy weapon damage allowing more of it to bleedthrough to the hull.
Unique Trail: The Muhktiar leaves behind a unique trail making it easier than most to trace and this is due to the new CFE-G3M5 engine.
Vulnerable: The ship is vulnerable to ion/emp weapon systems and perhaps even more so due to the CFE's sensitivity to ion/emp weapons that could cause a catastrophic blowback throughout the Muhktiar. In addition, her new advanced targeting and tracking system is also vulnerable to ion//emp weapons.
Hot-Blooded: While the rotary cannon will certainly help bring down starfighters, those responsible for firing it run the risk of jamming the weapon, warping the barrels or worse causing accidental detonations which for a ship the size of the Muhktiar and with the number of flak cannons it boasts could spell disaster.
Description: As part of Primo Victoria’s modernization project the Muhktiar was next on the list, having long served without a proper refit. It was time to remake her on the Mark III Project. To that end, Primo Victoria’s relationship with Aurora Industries continued to grow. As they incorporated Rotary Flak Guns into the new Muhktiar’s build they realized the flak guns were going to need an engine that could handle it. They turned to the Crystal Fused Engine Mark III while the Muhktiar would not benefit from the improved ratings to speed and maneuverability it does benefit from having ship systems respond faster and ultimately having an improved power transfer rate.
The shipwright company turned to additional sensor equipment following the installation of the new Mark III engine. The universal transceiver package became that additional equipment, along with the Screamer Active Jammer which would help the Corvette in its combat role of anti-starfighter. Her production was reduced to minor given that the Muhktiar would not have to be fielded en masse and could service her new corporate owners just as well with the lower production rate. Once more aside from Primo Victoria, Vanir Technologies benefits from the continued Mark III project.
Refit: The refit includes the new Thunderbolt rotary hypervelocity cannon and has an increase in overall gun count. Defensively the ship sees the installment of MATT, an advanced targeting and tracking system along with the addition of the Ovmar, a defensive missile weapon system. Due to the inclusion of the Thunderbolt the refitted Muhktiar also saw the inclusion of the Brel light particle shield and a reworking of her hull to include a trilamnium coating.
Note:
- Please state the loadout in posts when using the Muhktiar, you cannot change loadouts mid-battle in space/atmo without having returned to a station.
- A refit of the Muhktiar II, weapons have been swapped around/added along with strength/weaknesses to reflect this.
