Much Ado About Netaleon

Minch

Afraid, you are. Worried, I'm not.

Minch used the Force to levitate a row of leaves into standing upright. Then, he hovered a few, small, green rocks in the shape of a small humanoid and made it look as though it was walking in front of the leaves.

"Then, creeping through the underbrush, I was, when all of a sudden---!"

A golem consisting of rocks, twigs and leaves rose up behind the screen of upright leaves. All the individual pieces came together to take the primitive form of what could be seen as a Rancor. The creation, of course, was taller than the small green humanoid pebble form. The green pebble form stopped moving and appeared to crouch down.

"Came out of nowhere, a Rancor did. Sneaky, it was, and looking for prey. It sniffed, once, twice. Lowered its head very close to me, it did. Discovered, I thought I was. So, a distraction, I made."

A couple of grey pebbles floated by the "Rancor" and "Yodaling" and hit one of the leaves away from them. The "Rancor" appeared to look over at the disturbance and run off in that direction.

The Neti children were gleefully entralled with Minch's story telling and puppet show. Minch made sure to accentuate the giant Rancor with funny, bumbling antics and a goofy voice. The children ate it up and his Neti Jedi companion from Silver's Rest, Nurn, also smiled throughout the performance Minch was putting on for the class of younglings.

"That was a nice thing you did for those students, Minch. I'm sure they appreciated the break from their Basic lessons," said Nurn.

"The least I can do for a friend, it was. Your invitation to come to your homeworld, I do appreciate. The village here is pleasant," replied Minch.

"It was good to have someone along to help ease the progression of leadership. My brother has worked hard for this village and deserved to follow in father's roots; not that cur, Woodruff. I heard that conniving Neti was planning on cutting some sort of deal with the First Order. Unsubstantiated and I have no idea what he'd have to bargain with, but the idea of getting involved with outside powers makes my bark peel."

"Relieved, I am, to see your kind brother in charge. Worried, though, where Woodruff has run off to..."

"Don't worry. Our scouts will find him eventually. They'll make sure he's not up to mischief. Anyways, before we go tomorrow, my brother wants to send us off by blessing us in front of the Ruwroll Stone."

"Ruwroll Stone?"

"It's just a large mineral formation that our village's first shaman summoned to the surface from the depths of the earth to commemorate the fresh formation of our village. The village center was built around it and it serves as a sentimental centerpiece. We're still not sure about its composition or possible uses, but we don't use much stone in our buildings to begin with and we've had more important things to tend to throughout the centuries rather than study a stone..."
