Intent: A rapidly effective heat-absorbing/cooling rod.
Manufacturer: Mystic Tekk
Model: V1, V2
Affiliation: General Buyers
Modularity: No
Production: Minor
Material: Plas-Bonded Ostrine, Black paint, Thermoelectric cooling rod, heat coil, heat vent, small motor, coolant
Description: This device has one primary focus. Absorbing the heat out of the surrounding area, and through that, cooling the area. Ostrine is an extremely heat-absorbent material, which only increases when this rod is painted black. To also increase convection to this hollow rod, and addition thermoelectric cooling rod is placed inside of it, which is very cold. When heat is absorbed, it is transferred into the inside heat coil, which reaches up through the device to a heat vent/fan, expelling this heat. In the end, this device fulfills its purpose: Cooling the surrounding area. Also, for practicality, this device is retractable with a small motor. That way, it can be stored in a small area until its use is required. This device can be used for many things, including acting as a cooling device for an overheated engine. However, there are two different versions of this product. (Listed Below)

Version 1: This is portable and relatively light. This is not as strong as version 2, but will serve its purpose in most practical situations. Version 1 is mainly used to cool the air within a 5 foot radius of the device

Version 2: This is industrial-strength and pretty heavy. This is not portable, and usually permanently fixed into a large device. This also has small holes in the sides, fixed to small tubes. These tubes carry coolant, which can furtherly cool down a large engine or extremely hot device.

While a portable cooling rod is quite a good idea, as is a cooling device for an engine, a one-size-fits-all device that is also portable is going to be quite a bit bigger, and portability with such will become highly impractical. I suggest modifying this in some way that would make more sense for cooling down an engine, if you plan to use it for such, as a rod or two, or four, is not going to necessarily suit cooling down the engine of a freighter or cruiser, much less something larger. As far as using it solely for a portable cooling device, this is fine as-is, just keep in mind that it only cools the surrounding air around it, not necessarily what is giving off the heat.
