STRENGTHS
  • Duality: The MRX-V has two different firing options, Ion and Laser. The laser rounds operate much like any other blaster rifle, while the ion shots are used to pierce or neutralize any potential personal shielding a target is using.
  • Stabilizer: The MRX-V has a anchor situated at the rear of the rifle, that when deployed will lock in place and absorb much of the recoil that may come from the rifle, allowing the user to have a greater degree of accuracy.
WEAKNESSES
  • Ammunition: To allow for two types of ammunition within the weapon, the capacity for both types has been greatly limited, with a maximum of five ion shots per cell, and ten for laser rounds.
  • Size: The MRX-V is an extremely large weapon, and is not designed to be used in a highly mobile combat situation. It is best used in as stationary, pre-planned firing position. It takes considerable effort to move the weapon during a fight.
DESCRIPTION
The MRX-V is the first widely produced sniper rifle made for the Mandalorian Union following their retaking of Mandalore. Many of the foes the Union must face are extremely lethal warriors at close range, and have numerous advantages over them. Be it through the Force, superior strength, or equipment manufactured to give them a leg up, the Union decided it would be best to simply ignore all of these advantages, and simply shoot the threat from a distance.
