The story of Mrurh'en'lase is not one of kindness, goodness, or favorable fortunes. It is one of sadness, despair, loss, greed, and immense violence alongside sprinkling of internal torment, anxiety, and conflict of the soul. It is also laced with crimes and sins of terrible count, especially when her young age is taken into consideration. It began with the worst crime she had ever committed: being born, and being born a hybrid of Zeltron and Chiss blood. This alone was sinful, a crime against nature that would never be forgiven for more reasons than she could ever hope to truly understand.
However, while being the most blatant and long-lasting, it was not even her own direct cause. Ironic, indeed, that the sins of her parents became her greatest crime. Not only was their very union considered a transgression against all values the traditional Chiss held in their hearts, but to birth a horrific animal - not even considered sentient or a person - such as Mrurh'en'lase...well this was entirely unjustifiable, inexcusable, and entirely revolting.
The hybrid's parents were sentenced to death and would have been executed alongside them had they not escaped into the wilderness of space. Where they ended up, she never knew - only that it was a planet of destitution and ruins.
There, Mrurh'en'lase lived for years and years, forced to suffer the indignities of her very existence and the conflicting hatred and love from her parents. As a Zeltron, she felt every emotion enhanced, beating through her heart and racing through her mind and her veins - her own, and those who gave her life and those who lived around her in fear.
Fear of what she was and what terrible fate she could bring down upon them. You see, not only had she been born a hybrid, taciturn in tradition yet emotional in her soul, she had been born a Force Sensitive.
That which the Chiss hated with infernal passion on their worlds - that which they would never stop hunting until every speck of its existence in their species was eradicated.
The eventual, and unexpected, deaths of her parents only worsened this fear that surrounded the young hybrid, who felt dark and alone in the universe. For all intents and purposes, she was alone - abandoned before she was even born. Thus, it should not be a surprise that the hybrid ended up in a life that saw her continue committing her crimes, working in the underworld for money, prestige, and survival. Her life seemed...destined to end prematurely.
Until the Jedi came.
How the Hybrid managed to sway her way into the ranks of the Jedi remains a closely guarded secret, with only the knowledge of her being passed from Master to Master like a ball being a known fact. Troublesome even after passing her trials as an initiate, the hybrid saw little progress and doubts of her ever becoming a successful Jedi became all too common. Indeed, while survival may indeed have a greater chance of probability, despite the war against Darkness that wages eternally for the Jedi Order, it remains to be seen if the hybrid will ever forge a legacy not burdened by shame, crime, and sin.
