Movie Production

Alright I want to first ask if this sounds like an alright idea. The basic idea is that we take the movies in RL and then make them in this RP site. Is this allowed?

I was thinking that I would collect a cast of people willing to portray the characters and, with advanced makeup and special effects, basically create the movies on this site.

Anyone know if this has already been done or if it is allowed?

Maybe C-3PO for you. You got that great sense of humor that could easily transfer into the comedic timing.

Maybe Darth Vader....


Of course if I were to do this, I would first have to head to Coruscant and pick up datafiles on the actual events (I'm sure that if one digs deep enough one could fine just about anything). Then we would move to each planet to get actual footage. We would also have to borrow ships and what not for the firefights.

I was thinking that there would be the movie and then all the cast and the producers would also have their own commentaries, which would be sold as part of a special edition of the film or something.


Does that sound like a plausible idea?

If you would get each faction's that holds the planets permission, ICly it might be different to film on Coruscant than it would be to film on Hoth or Tatooine due to the factions that govern these planets.

Yeah that was where Corruck would have to get creative. But I think that aside from the fun that such threads would be, it would also be quite rewarding.


I think what would be most fun is having to go around trying to hire actors and what not, probably have to ask each faction to add to the number if only to keep each one from getting upset about it.

Looks like Corruck is going to be jumping quite a bit from faction to faction to film.

Any suggestions? First time doing this.

Assemble your crew first as that would be the most difficult then getting permission from the factions would come easily, of course there's always sets, I believe we have an extremely large holographic set in OP called the Pit if getting permission won't work out we can always lend it to you.


But I think it's better if you'll do it without my involvement due to my ties in OP and actively aiding in wars against OS and CIS

I guess I'll open first a cast and then later make threads to find the information and collect the cast then at last make filming threads, where we ask for and hopefully receive permission to use the planets.

We will follow the actual movie tradition and first make IV V and VI.

I haven't done a good historical drama since my portrayal of General Grievous in "Yoda: Ballad of the Clones!" I won two Corey's for that performance. Still, if you need a hand with camera work and special effects, I'll gladly offer my expertise.
