- When placed in a lightsaber it gives off an Orange shine to the blade.
- Can help purify dark side crystals.
- When the crystal is used in a lightsaber it allows the user to move more swiftly and faster, making it better for combat.
- The crystal helps strenghten the user’s connection to the light side of the force, making them feel One With the Light.
- If the crystal was every exposed to enough dark-sided energy it might explode into a brilliant light, possibly hurting any dark-sided foes. But even minimal contact is harmful to the crystal.

After a star near Sith space exploded, sending a bright light across the nearby systems, Okkeus thought he should go check it out. Upon arrive he found a small, crystalline object towards the center of the destroyed star. Looking closer he discovered a Kyber Crystal inside.
Taking it with him he thought about who he should give it to. He already had two lightsabers, and he didn’t have a padawan anymore. So, he decided to give it to his fellow Jedi (Secret Santa Gift Receiver).
