SPECIAL FEATURES

3K40 Targeting System: Used generally on military bases, the software allowed multiple weapons to convert onto various targets or concentrate fire on a single target. (x)
Life Support
Micropoles: Several small bits of poles were added to extend shield coverage and protect other unshielded sections of the YT-1300. This however takes a considerable drain from the ship. (x)
Nightshadow Smuggler Compartments: Compartments coated in Nightshadow paint which allows only the most sensitive sensors to detect the cargo inside. (x)
SLAM (Sublight Accelerator Motor): The motor draws power from weapon reserves to give the ship a boost of acceleration, allowing it to go much faster in Sublight in a short period of time. (x)
X10-D Droid Brain: Designed to help smugglers with ships, this one however controls the automation of the turrets while using the 3K40 Targeting System package. (x)
Warhead Countermeasure: Deploys chaff to confuse a warheads guidance system and causing it to explode prematurely before reaching its intended target. (x)

Sensors:
Siep-Irol Passive Sensor Antenna (x) (Under communication systems. Basic passive sensor, hard to find the actual page)
Sienar Fleet Systems Active Sensor Pulse Generator (x)
Fabritect ANq-51 Sesnor Array Computer (x)
Fabritech ANy-20 Active Sensor Transceiver (x)
Stellar Navigation Sensors (x)
Electromagnetic Discharge Filter (x)

Strengths:
  • Defensively Fortified: Using Duralloy from former Imperial-I class Star Destroyers, the ship can now take at least one hit from Turbolaser fire with at least minimal breaching damage. In addition, it has been additionally mounted with a Warhead Countermeasure that deploys chaff and the Micropoles scattered across the Jaggalor increases its shield coverage and shield rating by at least 25% the normal rating for a YT-1300 light freighter.
  • Made for Smuggling: Armed with multiple sensors to detect ships along with customized smuggling compartments along with increased sublight speed and modifications done to the hyperdrive, the Jaggalor is made for smuggling.
  • Automated Turrets: Due to the hookup from the X10-D Droid Brain along with it being coupled with 3K40 Targeting Software, it allows the turrets to only seek approval from the pilot of targets designated before firing on selected targets and keeps track of multiple targets.
Weaknesses:
  • Forward Cargo Hold completely converted: With the addition of the 340K Targeting System and the X10-D Droid Brain automating the turrets, the entire Forward Cargo Hold was converted to meet the accommodations. This reduced his cargo hold for the entire YT-1300 by one third.
  • No Manual Turret Control: If the Turrets go out at any time, no one can manually control the Turrets as they were forced to be automated.
  • Destructive Ion Damage: If the ship is hit with Ion, the 340K Targeting System and X10-D Droid Brain are offline longer than the rest of the ship, possibly even destroying the automation system for the Turrets and shorting out the 340K Targeting System
  • Terrible Maneuvering: Due to the SLAM (Sublight Accelerator Motor), it forces the Jaggalor to lose a considerable amount of maneuverability at the cost of additional speed.
  • Slower in Atmospheric: Due to the SLAM (Sublight Accelerator Motor) and additional weight from the Duralloy for defense, it moves much slower in atmospheric than it does in space. In addition, maneuvering the craft in atmospheric is much harder than it is in space.
  • SLAM (Sublight Accelerator Motor) Overheat: Due to the nature of the Sublight Accelerator Motor, overuse can lead it to overheating and potentially exploding in the Jaggalor. In addition, if used in Atmospheric flight, the temperature outside has to be used in consideration else it can overheat in less than ten seconds.
  • Hyperdrive Frequently Malfunctions: Due to the nature of the Griffiyn/Y2TG hyperdrive along with its extensive modifications, the Hyperdrive frequently malfunctions upon use and may require several tries before achieving hyperspace.
  • To go .5 Past Lightspeed: The hyperdrive requires additional power input and takes from the weapons systems, reducing them to quarter power. This requires one minute to before the hyperdrive is allowed to jump to lightspeed.
  • All or None Shield Boost for Micropoles: If one Micropole goes out, the entire shield strengthening process is turned off to reduce additional draw from the generator to compensate.
  • Uses Alot of Fuel: The Jaggalor with all its additional equipment forces the generator to pump out more fuel to keep the ship running and thus, increases the fuel consumption by three hundred percent requiring the ship to fuel much more often and take frequent stops on long trips.
Description:
The Jaggalor was passed from Father to Son. The original owner was Kell Rhade, father of Gaen Rhade who was a small time smuggler and freight mover. Gaen Rhade had spent a majority of his life on the Jagallor YT-1300 with his father to learn the trade and frequently helped pilot the Jaggalor when the need arose. After his father passed away in the refresher, suffering from a massive heart attack in his fifties, Gaen Rhade took ownership of the Jaggalor and set out into his smuggling at the age of twenty-nine. However he soon realized that the YT-1300 was out of date by a large margin and other smugglers were taking his business so he set out to find someone that was cheap and could modify the Jaggalor extensively.

Word had reached Gaen Rhade that a small time ship designer and engineer was working in the Scraplands of Ord Mantell. Traveling over to Ord Mantell, he looked for the designer for two days through various settlements before meeting Haon Hafey, the ship designer and engineer. After some discussion which drew attention to other patrons in the settlement, a deal was reached as several scavengers followed to the large hanger bay to house the YT-1300 for its modifications with most giving groans over the state of the ship. Within a day, the ship was being dismantled piece by piece as electrical, sensors and even generators were being updated as Haon Hafey and Gaen Rhade traveled around the Scraplands to look for parts to upgrade the Jaggalor.

Deciding it was best to scavenge parts from a newer series YT, they traveled for two hours to reach an un-operational YT-2550 that had been left to rot with several scavengers. Taking the better part of two days, the crew dismantled the sublight engine, the generator and removed the Griffiyn/Y2TG hyperdrive along with retrieving Siep-Irol Passive Sensor Antenna, Sienar Fleet Systems Active Sensor Pulse Generator, Fabritect ANq-51 Sesnor Array Computer, Fabritech ANy-20 Active Sensor Transceiver. Stellar Navigation Sensors, and an Electromagnetic Discharge Filter. Upon returning to the Juggalor, Haon Hafey spent a whole day reconfiguring the YT-1300 with the new parts with Gaen Rhade exploring the Scraplands alone for hopefully, a quad turret.

As Gaen Rhade explored for the day, he had run across only one Quad Turret, in particular an AG-2G Quad Laser Turret found among the wreckage of a slightly destroyed YT-2400. As he returned, he had ran across something cursing in binary nearby as he approached an old LAAT (Low Altitude Assault Transport) that had been modified with a droid brain and had been left to rust away. Gaen Rhade spent a majority of the day taking out the talkative X10-D Droid Brain and placed him on board the landspeeder as it complained not being able to fire its Composite-Beam Laser Turret. So within half an hour, it was ripped off and taken back to the Have Gun Will Travel workshop with Haon Hafey in distain in having to work with modifying an X10-D Droid Brain for automation with its turrets along with finding targeting system software and having to install the Composite-Beam Laser Turret. At this time, the scavengers along with Gaen Rhade taken parts of the hull and starting reinforcing it with Duralloy.

It took three days to finish installation with the Haon Hafey realizing it would need military grade targeting systems to even get the turrets working properly. To this end, they went out scavenging again to hopefully find an old turret that contained the targeting systems necessary for the arrangement. However they had ran into rival scavengers and used the SCS-19 Sentinel to fight their way out, they had run across an almost intact copy of an BTL-S8 K-Wing assault Starfighter. Using the wench on the SCS-19, they had drug it back to the workshop as Gaen Rhade proposed an idea on glancing at the K-Wing. Take it apart and use the SLAM (Sublight Accelerator Motor) to increase the ships speed. Haon Hafey argued but in the end conceded as maneuverability would be lowered as a result. The Warhead Countermeasure system that uses Chaff to disrupt warheads, missiles and torpedoes was also recovered from the K-Wing. It took just a few hours to install the chaff system with only two charges inside the rear cargo bay but took an entire day to install the SLAM system to connect to the sublight engines. At this time, it was noted the generator was taking more power and would consume much more fuel but Gaen Rhade felt it was properly balanced that way.

Selling off the rest of the BTL-S8 K-Wing assault Starfighter allowed Haon Hafey to pay the scavengers for their work for the rest of the project and purchase the
3K40 Targeting System from the Neuro-Saav Corporation (x) along with several Micropoles from surrounding scavengers to increase shield coverage for the YT-1300. As completion was drawing closer, Haon Hafey brought to the attention that the Forward Cargo bay would cease to exist as cables and wires were all over along with the X10-D Droid Brain having its own unique place inside along with the large processors inside to allow the 3K40 Targeting System to which Gaen Rhade agreed once again, noting that more valuable cargo would be protected regardless away from the cockpit. As time drew closer, Haon Hafey worked on modifying the Griffiyn/Y2TG hyperdrive from the former YT-2550 to which he routed power from the backup hyperdrive to the main hyperdrive to increase the speed to .6 past lightspeed while reducing the backup hyperdrives power to 10 past lightspeed. However Gaen Rhade said it was not fast enough and demanded to get .5 past lightspeed to which Haon Hafey agreed to on the condition the power was routed from the weapons system on activation of the hyperdrive which was agreed, allowing the hyperdrive to go at .5 past lightspeed.

As the Micropoles were being installed, Haon Hafey and Gaen Rhade went to the Cantina to drink a few beers yet a rather boastful smuggler was telling how he evaded all the customs authorities while carrying a shipment of Nightshadow. The conversation intrigued the pair though the smuggler had been rude throughout the night which led to the pair following him to his freighter and while he slept, slip away with his shipment of Nightshadow. Using it fast as they possibly could throughout the night, they coated several smuggler compartments of Nightshadow before disposing of the evidence before sunrise with Life Support being finished updated throughout the entire ship, letting the scavengers finish bolting the ship back together. The two smiled as the Jaggalor had finally reached completion, gleaning from the new Duralloy Plates and several new micropoles. With business concluded, Gaen Rhade waited for testing to finish for the Juggalor, being the test pilot himself before leaving with his modified YT-1300 Juggalor with a surprising final gift of a months worth of consumables having their own shelves near the central portion of the ship.

Warhead Countermeasure (To defend against Torpedoes and Missiles) (2 uses): (x)
Some of your hyperlinks, such as this one, are not properly done. Please check all of your hyperlinks to make sure that you don't have any more dead links. (This one is missing the : in the http:// portion of your link)

Meaning two. I have checked them manually, the Warhead Countermeasures in hyperlink had a portion of it deleted and did not detect it. Will not happen again. Also I am not sure if I was the only one seeing an emoji on my screen as some were saying it was not. Regardless, that has been fixed as well.

EDIT: Darth Ananta (Learning how to Tag.)

To go .5 Past Lightspeed: When the hyperdrive is activated, the weapons systems are reduced to quarter power and does not recharge until the jump to Hyperspace for the initial jump.
I am not certain how this is a weakness. The only time a hyperdrive is generally activated is when the jump to hyperspace is about to occur, and as no combat actually happens in hyperspace I can't see how this is actually an issue in any way. Does this impact the ship after exiting hyperspace, or for extended periods prior to or in order to activate the hyperdrive, like some kind of delayed jump where power needs to be directed to the hyperdrive for a measurable amount of time that would actually impede combat?

Sorry, I should have explained it better. Yes, it requires a one minute charge up time before jumping to lightspeed while drawing power from the weapons systems. The person I commissioned to was adamant on getting to .5 and going .6 was the maximum I can do before having to charge the hyperdrive from other systems and using a delayed time limit before the jump.

Regardless, it has been updated to reflect this. Sorry for the confusion.

In order for this to move on to secondary I need the ratings on the ship lowered by one. I would suggest defenses, but any rating would do.
