Original (Stock) Description:
The Assassin Class Recon Bike is built with speed in mind. Every aspect of it's design is geared toward this primary objective; From it's narrow, streamlined fuselage, to the low, tight position the driver is forced to adopt to operate the vehicle, the Assassin Class and it's Ion Afterburners are guaranteed to push the limits of the driver's abilities at breakneck speeds. This tremendous speed comes at a dear cost, maneuverability. Once the Assassin Class is set in motion it simply doesn't change directions well.

In a combative function, the Assassin Class is well equipped, and designed, to engage enemy infantry. The vehicle's only weapon is a heavy, rotary style, repeating blaster cannon. The ability to unleash a massive outpouring of bolts, and it's ability to out pace almost anything it target's, means most forward infantry units are in a considerable amount of danger. This does however have a few flaws. Firstly, the weapon is housed in the vehicle's nose, and has a very limited range of motion. In other words, the vehicle can't really shot anything it's not at least mostly pointed at. Secondly, the very nature of the Assassin Class's design makes it poorly suited to attack anything with proper defenses. The vehicle simply isn't designed to circle another vehicle to find a weakness in it's armor, or sustain fire on a fortified position.

Ever a fan of gizmos, and gadgets, Zenva's personal touches went into the software, and special features of the Assassin Class Recon Bike. The vehicle's controls can be synchronized with most modern HUDs, and many of the galaxy's more sophisticated cybernetic implants, offering the driver a level of control seen in few other Speeder Bikes on the market. Each vehicle is fitted with a Beckon Call device that is easily programmed to an individual, and it's encrypted communication systems reduce the likelihood of hijackings. All this along with an array of sensors, and you can be sure the Assassin Class Recon Bike has more bells and whistles the the average Speeder.

Modified Description:
Tully - being the gearhead he was - loved this bike from the start, but like with most things he wanted to tinker with it, customize it, and try to improve it to suit his needs. He began by adding the deflector shield generator he pulled from an old Droideka he came across in a junkyard on the Outer Rim. This would enable him to activate or deactivate at will a 2m shield bubble about the bike, offering enhanced protection to both the vehicle and its pilot, a.k.a. himself. The shield was strong against most infantry energy and particle weapons, and even against flying shrapnel, debris, and would allow him to operate it through harsh weather conditions like sandstorms and the like, without much trouble. However, against heavy weapons, serious kinetic events like heavy slugthrowers and crew-served weapons systems, or anti-vehicle EMP mines and grenades, it still wouldn't do much good.

Tully coated - like his armor - in cortosis lacquer and Segroth PGA coating, hoping to improve resistance against lightsaber-type weapons and to attempt to harden it against EMP/Ion weapons, however a heavy EMP/Ion blast could still cause damage. Tully would have to live with it. Tully also added an inertial compensator and two small maneuvering thrusters, which improved the original handling of the speeder somewhat

Next, he added a small-sized 10m-cp lamp floodlight, mounted alongside the blaster cannon. Able to direct the beam with the same range as the weapon, he found this gave him a nice searchlight capability, while the addition of black-out lighting options enabled him to operate at night and remain relatively difficult to detect. The final step was the addition of the sensor array stripped from an R-2 astromech droid which included a full-spectrum transceiver, life form indicators, motion sensors, DER, as well as integrating the droid's Intellex IV brain, replacing the original standard sensor array and which could conduct detailed analysis and store vast amounts of information. As a result, Tully's bike could scan flora, fauna, ships and vehicles, and more and receive detailed analysis and reports about the subjects, which would enable him to compile incredible database of information regarding various planets and locations he'd visit. Just taking a 'survey' ride would enable him to do so, saving much time in gathering these kinds of information.
