Description: Drawing from pre existing Stun Cloak designs, such as SVT-300 model, the SVT-450 Stun Cloak is meant to be a substantial upgrade that allows the wearer to better defend themselves against lightsaber wielding opponents. More specifically the SVT-450 Stun Cloak was commissioned by Mercenaries and members of the Sun Guard to upgrade pre existing Stun Cloaks.
The main difference in the SVT-450 model is that it uses armorweave as compared to the regular cloth found in normal models. Otherwise most features are similar. The cloak is lined with micro filaments attached to a power cell which, when activated, will then emit an electrical surge capable of stunning opponents. As with regular stun cloaks the cloak will electrostatically adhere to living tissue when it comes into contact with it. The inside of the cloak is insulated to prevent accidental shocks to the user.
The Armorweave used to make the SVT-450 model extends a limited amount of lightsaber protection as well. Due to the thickness of the armorweave the cloak is able to entangle a lightsaber for a limited amount of time, usually long enough for the cloak itself to adhere to the hand of the individual wielding the weapon, however this is a one time effect. A strong backwards jerk of the lightsaber is usually enough to both free it and cut away that portion of the stun cloak as well.

Special Features: The Stun Cloak emits an electrical surge from itself and into anyone grappling with the wearer of the cloak or any living tissue the cloak had adhered to. This is accomplished via a power cell on the inside of the cloak which is attached to a hand held panel capable of activating the electrical surge. Normally a power cell is capable of holding three electrical surges before it needs to be recharged however due to the thickness of the armorweave the SVT-450 model is only capable of creating two such electrical surges before the power cell needs to be charged again.
The electrical surge created by the stun cloak is not enough to be considered lethal. It will stun an opponent, overriding their nervous system with the electrical surge in many cases, and may even incapacitate injured opponents however this is the extent of its capabilities.
