SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Designed to traverse mountains and deserts with ease so that it can get into positions to better rain down fire upon the enemy. Modified mining equipment implanted in the legs allow it to cling to cliff-faces. The ability to reach a higher elevation will allow it to shoot farther than standard artillery. It is able to reach speeds of 40k/h on an open stretch of land.
Strengths:

  • Range - It is able to increase its range considerably by raising its elevation by climbing onto a cliff face or up the side of a mountain. It is also able to extend its "legs" and raise itself up that way.

  • Quick Turning - It is an agile piece of machinery for its size and bulk. Both its cannon and its base are able to turn at a considerable pace.

  • Repairs - The base model of the artillery is not specialized for one ordinance over the other, as a result certain parts wear out faster as the shots are switched out. Regor has designed it to be fairly easy to repair, in the simplest case parts can be traded out.
Weaknesses:

  • Barrel Change - It takes time for the different barrels to be changed out. On the side of a cliff it is impossible.

  • Degradation - The constant switching and firing of different materials means that the base model is not specialized for one type of ordinance over the other. The Sociph have many different types of chemical and incendiary ordinances that burn and corrode at different levels. This wreaks havoc on the machinery, as a result repairs are common and necessary.

  • Specialized for Environment - This artillery piece wouldn’t be able to operate well in a marsh or frozen environment, further modifications would be required for it to function in different environments other than a desert or mountainous region.
Description:
Most of Antisoch is, by this point, desert and mountains. Mobile warframe is a trademark on the planet. They adapted their origins of ambush and night fighting into devastating hit and run tactics that leave nothing but scorched earth and dead bodies in their wake. To stave off the heat, especially in the high deserts, cities will often be built in close proximity to mountains or large hills. The need quickly arose to be able to bombard the enemy from on high while being relatively safe from return fire.
