Description:
The MNU Security Body Armor is designed for both domestic and commercial use. As with all products of Morris Munitions, it was with quality in mind. The MNU is not a full-suit, but specifically designed for maximum torso protection. As per most military programs, training teaches soldiers to fire at the largest target, the torso. Albeit many militaries and companies use and sell full-suit armors, but due to the heavy weight of thick plated armor, they must sacrifice a degree of protection for less weight and more maneuverability.

The MNU allows for more flexibility while providing maximum performance and protection, with just as much weight as a full suit. Of course this exposes the limbs and cranium to damage. The MNU covers the torso, back and crotch, but also includes two shoulder pads and elbow pads. An adhesive is coated to the chest for attachments such as ammunition pouches.

The durasteel of the body armor is thick, with interlocking plates that allow for better movement. Due to the nature of durasteel and the thick plates, it can withstand intense blaster fire and ballistic damage. Labels on the crates, and market information, provide necessary warnings to the hazards of wearing the security armor, such as limb damage or loss, as well as fatal head wounds, as the MNU does not cover these areas. For these reasons it is recommended for security personnel only, and not soldiers.
