Description: The Mayfly is the developmental successor to the Mayfire, which was systematically rejected for reasons only known to the manufacturing management board. The Mayfly is a man-portable rifled grenade launcher that can be placed stationary on a stable surface via unfolding tripod option, mounted semi-permanently to a vehicle or carried by a two-man crew (or one man utilizing a Power Suit). It is capable of laying down sustained suppressive grenade fire, reigning effective over mass infantry fronts and light vehicle convoys. It's weight, however, makes it very prohibitive in battle and impractical on all accounts as a personal weapon.
In an attempt to salvage the development placed into the former, the Mayfly still incorporates the multi-barreled wheel drum design to reduce weight and thus make it more man-portable and faster to employ in combat scenarios. This, though not recommended, makes it operable by a single man, though the weight would be extremely restrictive on their endurance and rate of mobility.

Strengths:
  • Shoots non-cookoff grenades quickly and accurately
Weakness:
  • Incredibly heavy and requires two to set up
  • Minimum safe fire operation of 50 meters (circumventing this risks blowing one's self up)
  • Can be utilized personally by the strongest of the strong at the expense of severe loss of speed and mobility (and then, usually only via wheeldrum version)

Without Dev Thread

As reviewed previously, the ability for a wheel drum to contain 21 grenades is excessive.

  • Lower the amounts to a max of 5 total.
  • SIze: Switched to "Turret" optional but not recommended "Two handed weapon"

Everything else looks good.
