Intent: To create a ranged weapon from Forgeworks that has multiple ammunition types.
Development Thread: If necessary
Manufacturer: Meran Mechanics
Model: MMR (Micro-Missile Revolver)
Affiliation: The MMR was made for a small group of people.
Modularity: The ammunition can be changed to different types of micro-missiles
Production: Semi-Unique

Material: Durite coat, Electrum etching, Duraplast frame.
Classification: Revolver
Size: Handheld
Length: 16.4 cm, 6 cm barrel
Weight: 1.3 kg
Ammunition Type: Variety of Micro-Missiles - HE, Flamable, Cryo, etc
Ammunition Capacity: Ammo capacity of six micro-missiles slugs per reload.
Effective Range: Range is about the same as a standard missile launcher, perhaps further with the missiles being small. Effective at Personal to Medium.

Rate of Fire: Repeating.
Special Features: 1 Iron Sight along the top
Missiles home in on nearest target detected by inside radar. Will then make minor adjustments in trajectory to hit target (Homing can be turned off on weapon, making rounds shoot straight).
Strengths: The different variations of ammunition allow for strategic approaches in different areas of combat.
Homing micro-missiles.
Strong frame for weapon.
Weaknesses: It is a slow reload, and firing between each round is slower than a usual blaster pistol.
Can jam in dusty environments.
Massive recoil.
Expensive ammunition.
Micro-missiles only home in when target is in small range (5m) ahead of micro-missile (cannot turn effectively, may hit wrong target).
While making adjustments, the round is slower than most blaster rounds. Only when at 2m will it go maximum speed, so the round can be dodged.
Heavy for one hand use.
Description: The weapon was designed by a Duros named Candez Stoon for Meran Mechanics. It has etchings along the side made of Electrum and a wooden grip for style and smooth gripping. It has a Durite coat of black and a Duraplast frame.

It cannot lock on.
The strength and weaknesses you have included directly conflict with the other. A homing missile is a missile which "homes in" on a target via tracking, and to lock on is to "lock onto" a target via tracking in order to then "home in" on them. In essence, a homing missile requires the ability to lock on a target otherwise it does not actually perform the task of a homing missile.

If the idea is to not have these missiles follow a person/target/etc, then simply delete the "Homing micro-missiles" strength, and if the idea is to have them follow a target, delete the "It cannot lock on" weakness and give me a real weakness to counter this strength.

Homing micro-missiles (within a small range around micro-missile).
So does it track its target or not? Because a homing missile locks onto a target, and added recoil isn't going to alter the trajectory of the micro missile to such a degree that it won't correct itself via homing.

Made some changes. The micro missile is designed to go straight at wherever the user aims, then when it gets into a 5m radius of the target chosen by the inner radar, it slows to make readjustments and then at 2m it makes a minor boost
