ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Strengths:
  • Micronized Beskar: Much more durable than the standard model, the "h" model uses an ultra-think layer, also called micronized layer, of beskar to protect it from energy weapons and projectile weapons alike as the starship still does not have standard shielding. Thus the micronized beskar acts about as effectively as a standard deflector shield combo would.
  • Inertial Dampner Disabler: Integral to the survival of a pilot, the inertial dampner helps keep the Gs away when performing intense maneuvers, though even they have a stopping point, stopping pilots from recklessly harming their body. Turning off this switch risks bodily harm and death at the speeds this starfighter can reach but also allows for a surprise edge in battle if used as it takes the safety locks off and allows the pilot to move entirely free of restraint.
  • Extreme Speed: Among one of the fastest starfighters in the Galaxy
Weaknesses:
  • Double Edged Sword: Switch off the inertial dampner could cause bodily harm and death mid-flight.
  • No Shields: While the micronized beskar makes for good protection against standard weapons, with no shields ion weapons can do more than just disable the ship, they can also damage internal systems, potentially destroying the starfighter
  • Low Fuel Capacity: While this ship does have a hyperdrive, its fuel capacity limits it to how far it can jump and how many times it can jump severely making its hyperdrive more of a cash hog than a reliable way of travel.
Description: Originally designed for the Mandalorian Empire, the Starbird-class interceptor saw limited use in the Mandalorian Empire before a new team of Quarth and Verpine engineers propsed the idea for an even faster, better protected model of the Starbird. However, due to costs the starfighter was never rolled out. However when SSB reached out to member companies asking if they would be participating in their regular Bazar Expo Zeke had a small amount produced as an auction item for the event. The MMI-SB7/h comes equipped with a hyperdrive (hence the h in its name) as well as a micronized beskar coating as seen in their ancient Bes'uliik-Class Starfighters upping its incredibly low defensive capabilities. The coating was applied mostly because of the huge increase in speed for the Starbird as the engineers feared the limited particle shielding it held for debris wouldn't be strong enough at max speed. Equipped with a SLAM, four laser cannons, and an ordinance launcher the Starbird could be used as a very powerful starfighter, but in practice was made as a trophy for some rich man-child who probably would never be able to use the Starbird to its furthest potential.
