Weaknesses:
  • Ammunition; Unlike blasters, the MM100 requires frequent reloading. Troopers are also required to carry more ammunition on their person, thus weighing them down. No matter how much ammunition they may carry, blasters always prove superior in this aspect, requiring only one cell for every dozen slug clips.
Description:
The MM100 is a basic combat rifle designed for the Commonwealth military. Due to the Commonwealths history and interest in slugthrowers, they have forgone the galactic standard blaster. While the MM100 requires more frequent reloading as a result, it does not overheat, although marines are required to carry more ammunition, weighing them down, and they can carry only so much. This leaves the enemy with a unique advantage, longer lasting firepower.

Although the enemy may have longer lasting firepower, the beauty of the MM100 is that its shots do not leave plasma trails behind, thus the enemy cannot see from which direction the enemy is firing. All MM100's are delivered in small plasteel crates, each with a silencer kit so as to prevent the enemy from hearing which direction the shot was fired, or seeing a muzzle flash.

Lastly the MM100 comes with a scope kit and a rail mount, allowing for interchangeable compatible scopes. The kit comes with a basic iron sight for close combat, and a medium and long range scope. These require little effort to be removed or replaced on the rail mount.

The MM100 is built for endurance, no matter the battlefield the MM100 will serve as a soldiers constant companion. It is easily disassembled and reassembled, with its own cleaning kit soldiers can keep their rifles shining in even the dirtiest of blood baths. Regular upkeep can keep a MM100 rifle operating for many years.
