Strengths:
  • Durable; The SpecOps is a big step up from the infantry kit, but limited in number and more expensive. With a vacuum sealed bodyglove, more durable plating, lastly night and thermal vision, the Commonwealth SpecOps gain an important advantage in their division.
Weaknesses:
  • Openings; While the suit is more durable, and there are less openings, there are still nonetheless openings around the upper thighs, back of the legs, elbows and underarms. As the saying goes about getting shot, you need to be lucky every time, the enemy only needs to be lucky once.
Description:
The MM-C SpecOps is a joint project by Morris Munitions designers and Commonwealth military administration to produce a SpecOps kit for their Navy Commandos and Marine Corps special operatives.

Similar to the infantry kit, the SpecOps kit is based on plates rather than a full body suit, although it consists of a armorweave bodyglove underneath that is vacuum sealed to the helmet, allowing for operations in vacuum. Unlike the infantry kit, the kit consists more of tech than useful equipment. Designed for short-term missions rather than long campaigns.

The armor is more durable than the infantry kit albeit with a heftier price tag. Covering more portions of the body without sacrificing flexibility, at the cost of exposed joints. The SpecOps kit has already become an icon of the military in the Commonwealth as the armor is slowly rolled out to special operations.
