Via Dolorosa
Amans In Tenebris
Corporation Name: MK Industries
Headquarters: Kesh
Locations: Keshtah Minor
Operations: Tech and Components
Rationale: After he secured enough funds through some of the profits from TDI and the credits he had stored away when he fled the Banking Clan, or rather embezzled from the Banking Clan, he was nearly ready to begin working on the creation of his new company; financially he was ready. Despite his certain friendships, he had no loyalty to any government and spent months working late hours going through various planets to settle his company on. He wanted a planet away from the cluster disaster that was known as the Core Worlds. Longer hours were spent trying to determine the nature and style of his company; mainly what to produce. In the end, he had all the details worked out. He knew where his company would set-up. He knew what his company would create.
Tier: 2
Description:
Tion Dr'iol served as the CEO of TDI for several years, before he was given ownership of that company. Using the profits he was able to secure a plot of land on the Keshtah Minor continent on Kesh, where he carefully spent his credits to have a structure built for his new company; MK Industries. Unlike his other company, this one didn't require such a massive building yard since this company focused on two different aspects.
The first was components for ships. Components included, but not limited to, hyperdrives, sensors, and engine. The second was technology items. This included, but not limited to, jammers, slicers and anti-slicers, encryption devices, computers (navigation and tracking).
MK Industries has no single loyalty to any faction, organization, or government; they will conduct business with anyone. However, they prefer to sign contracts with previously mentioned groups and will provide products on the open market. They will do private contracts only through a case-by-case understanding. This means that if their product they are asked to make privately will be used against anyone they have a standing contract with; they will refuse the request. With open market profits, that is out of their hands and those that sign contracts with MK Industries are made aware of this.
MK Industries believes in the symbiotic belief, meaning that they hire only workers for their production lines from the locals on the planet of Kesh. If they branch out to other planets, they will continue with that style. With every sale they make, the company donates fifteen percent of the sale into helping both the planet and the people.
