A standard assault rifle for the forces of the Fringe Imperium. The MK 1-Ballista Rifle users a chemical mixture in each shell to propel very large very heavy rounds from its muzzle. These rounds are high stopping power, able to punch into materials similiar or less strength than durasteel.
Even with heavier armors the kinetic force of the round stopping against a plate will still be felt.
