Private Missing in the Pockets

It was calling to her.

Onrai had remained mostly on the amorphous and ever-shifting nameless world the dead-yet-not cubes she had pseudo-slain had fallen to rest upon. Still the world's surface remained both solid and liquid, properties defiant. The cubes themselves were barely sunken in, but the structures built near them all had vibratory foundations to continue to keep the violating substances of the planet's surface solid enough that they would not sink into it and be consumed. Barring engagements with the ever-present fleets of the Charon and their duels with the subjects of whatever Prophet of the Void yet continued to lead their nihilistic ambitions, the only expedition she had taken was to the self-immolation of the being known as Kopa Kahn, whose knowledge yet eluded her. It was time for another journey, a travel to a place within the dead and benighted realm of Otherspace to discover more secrets of this realm, more for her forces to conquer.

It was for that reason she had called the young parasite she had raised and treated as though she were a daughter to join her. There were yet more abominable secrets to be discovered in the realm, and she intended to claim all of them as her own.

"We travel to meet the Horror of the Void this day." She said, having gathered as much of her essence as she could spare in a single place. The expectations were plain: they were to deal with this foul aberration within reality, and strike against it, this monstrosity that wept evil as though a strainer would leak water. It was a vile breed of terror, a creature whose parasitic nature put Kuri's own to shame, and a threat that hungered in a dead universe. Perhaps its malignancy was what brought upon the deathful ideologies of the Charon, for they stayed far away from it. Whatever the reason, it would bow before her, or be destroyed.
