Miri O'Hare grew up a sailor's kid on the planet of Pamarthe as the youngest of three children. While Pamarthe was an Outer Rim world, most of her family joined the Republic navy as starfighter pilots and navigators. Miri on the other hand decided to try her hand at racing. Several years into her career she was diagnosed with bloodburn. After she was caught lying on a medical form for an official race she was bared from racing on most official circuits, after which she traded her racer chops for a freighter and headed to Concord Dawn. For a while she flew as a contact transporter for local farmers and some of the local mining guilds. It was the only way she could stay in the stars. However, even that couldn't last long. After one of her shipments and her ship was stolen by a local outlaw gang she fell in deep with another local crime boss connected to the mining guilds. She was forced to begin smuggling and working as a bounty hunter to pay off the exorbitant amount of credits owed.
HISTORY
Miri fell in with the very Outlaws that had put her in the red. Forced to work as hired muscle on The Iris and as a smuggler for the more illicit materials moved through the Concord Dawn System. Despite being forced into the role, Miri embraced her new life as much as she could. She became proficient with a blaster and found favor with small-time officials of governments across the Galaxy. Bloodburn required an easy life with only slightly strenuous exercise and lots of hydration. Physical stress only worsened the blood disease and well...Being a smuggling bounty hunter was about as physically stressful as you could get. While she had caught the disease relatively quickly her life has led her to accelerate the disease and has already lost her more than one job.
Sometime after the fall of the Sith Empire she fell in with the Rebel Alliance as a courier and smuggler running weapons and supplies to those under the boot of the New Imperial Order. After the Alliance's intervention on New Alderaan it was revealed to her that the Rebel Alliance had been a front started by the Galactic Alliance to destabilize the Empire. Despite the group's "official" disbandment she continued to fly the Rebel Starbird with pride and ran small missions on her own in Imperial Space.
