STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
As an Empath, Miras is more sensitive than most to the ebb and flow of others' emotions. Able to read the potential greed, hostility, and various motivations of those he encounters, he ruthlessly exploits this ability for his own benefit. However, his short-temper, sullen demeanor, and acerbic outlook on life tend to alienate people and cast an awkward hue on social interactions.

Trained by some of the best swordsman the Jedi had to offer during a time when their skills were needed most, and so at their peak (the Mandalorian Crusade of JvS), he is proficient with both Djem So and the unarmed combat form of Stava, where is ability for reading his opponents is perhaps even more useful than his natural skill and rigorous training with his lightsaber. Yet it has been proven time and again that his willingness to lose himself in his opponent's thoughts and the flow of battle places him in a heightened state of susceptibility to the influence of the dark side. It was ultimately his downfall, when, after witnessing the destruction of the military base on Carida at the hands of the Mandalorians, Miras lost himself in the lust for vengeance and fell to the dark side. His passion and lack of self control remain his biggest weakness.
APPEARANCE:
Miras is lightly muscled but slender, sporting what most would consider an athletic build. His gray eyes are often described as overly-intense, and his narrow features and the bitter slash of his mouth seems to lend to this effect. He garbs himself in a travel-stained cloak, earth-toned and worn ragged from a thousand close calls. Beneath this are a pair of baggy cargo shorts that allow him an ease of movement not found in customary tunics, tennis shoes, and a vest of battered fiber armor over an over-sized black t-shirt sporting a cameo of the Modal Nodes.

BIOGRAPHY:
Trained in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Miras was a gifted student and talented swordsman, though his lack of control over his emotions kept him perpetually out of favor with the Masters. As luck would have it, the Mandalore declared a Holy Crusade against all force-sensitives at the same time he became eligible to become a Padawan. Standards suddenly dropped as the need for warm bodies between the Temple and the Mandalorians increased, and martial skill soon became more of a virtue than composure or balance. He found himself apprenticed to Adieumus Matango, a member of the Jedi Watchmen. Whisked away to their base on Carida, Miras spent the duration of the war training in the art of military strategy, combat, and continued to hone his Empathic abilities.

He was left for dead when the Mandalorians struck, leveling the base and killing nearly everyone within. When he awoke he found himself surrounded by the corpses of his comrades, and the need for vengeance severed his already tenuous connection to the light. Now he wanders the galaxy, killing Mandalorians and Sith alike, using their dark powers against them and believing himself justified.
